I'm very happy with this microwave. It has clean lines, works well and is easy to operate. "Cheat sheet" on the inside of the door opening helps user pick various settings that might not be used as often. Sales person noted that this microwave was "taller" than the other brands, but I really didn't notice any difference once it was installed. My only complaint is the location of the power cord. My overhead cabinet does not have a space underneath to stow excess cord. The cord position is fixed on one side. If your house power outlet is on the opposite side in the cabinet above, as mine is, you have this long, heavy, stiff cord running through the cabinet above it. And there isn't even a "wall hugger" plug on it. I'd really like to see a design with a separate cord and optional outlets on either side of the unit to minimize interference in the cabinet above. I had to put a false floor in my cabinet to get the cord out of the way. The filter could be bigger or positioned differently to allow the vent to work better. Minor issue, but it could be improved. I thought the venting out the top would be a condensation problem on the face of my overhead cabinet, but it was fine. All in all, I'm very happy with this model.

I upgraded my kitchen to stainless steel appliances and am very happy with the Whirlpool microwave. So far functions as needed without any hiccups. I was thrown off one day when I was cooking some chicken the fan automatically turned on by itself when it detected the smoke. I thought that was a cool feature but some may not like that.
