I found this product to be absolutely amazing! From the moment I started using it, I was impressed by its quality and performance. It exceeded my expectations in every way.
What stood out the most was how easy it was to use and how well it delivered on what it promised. Whether it was the design, functionality, or overall experience, everything felt thoughtfully crafted and reliable.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone considering it. It’s been a positive addition to my daily life, and I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased this microwave today to replace a failed 9 year old GE microwave that started actively microwaving with the door open. Yikes! The Whirlpool microwave install went relatively smooth, with the exception that some of the measurements for the screw holes were listed in 1/3rd and 1/6th of an inch increments. A tape measure that measures in 1/3 of an inch is pretty rare in the U.S.A. Once the microwave was installed, I plugged it in.
Disappointment number one: The display is annoyingly blue with a blue background and the display size is also on the smaller size. Due to the other issues I had, I never made it so far as to see if I could disable the blue backlight. I put a 20 oz. mug of water in the microwave.
Disappointment number two: The rotating glass carousel is only 12 inches (113.1 square inches of area), which seems TINY inside of a 1.9 cubic foot microwave. My old carousel is 14.25 inches, or 159.48 square inches. The new Whirlpool carousel is 41% smaller. Think medium pizza vs. large pizza smaller. I had just assumed that a microwave with the same 1.9 cubic feet of space (matching my old GE) would have the same size carousel, but I was mistaken. Later I checked the Best Buy website and while GE does list the carousel size of their modern 1.9 cubic foot microwave as 14.25 inches diameter. Whirlpool does not list the carousel size for this particular microwave. It's 12 inches. I pressed the express 3 button to instantly start the microwave on high power for three minutes. It started running as expected.
Disappointment three: The light inside the microwave is not very bright and the door is highly reflective so I could barely see my mug spinning on the carousel. If I were trying to melt some cheese or butter, I would not be able to see the melting unless I turned off all the kitchen lights or put my face to the door with both hands shielding the outside lights. Yes, the interior light is that dim.
I could have lived with the disappointments given the price point, but now comes the DOA (dead-on-arrival) part of my story. After three minutes of running, the water in my mug was just as cold as when I started. Nothing about the operation seemed unusual or out of place; all the noises sounded like normal microwave noises (blower fan noise and magnetron hum) and the clock timer worked as expected. It just didn't heat the water at all. I checked the instructions and made sure it was not in "DEMO" mode. I even went so far as to turn "DEMO" mode "ON" and verified the display said DEMO. I toggled "DEMO" mode back "OFF" (demo no longer showed) and tried again with a small 6" tortilla on a plate. Normally it would take 10-15 seconds to heat and swell the tortilla. Thirty seconds later it was still cold. I unplugged the microwave and plugged it back in, set the clock, and tried again with the tortilla. Nope, it just doesn't heat what-so-ever. So it's going back to Best Buy and I'll look at another brand.
I'm a bit upset that I put new holes in the cabinet and the wall to mount this microwave only to end up with a dead on arrival machine, nevermind the other listed disappointments.
If you're buying a microwave, be SURE to read the specifications to check for carousel size if that's important to you, and perhaps even test the microwave BEFORE you mount it to the wall.

Bought this for my mother and it works really well. Does not take long to heat up food. Very reliable and sleek design. The food heats up through and through, she is really happy with it.

This microwave will take the place of my old whirlpool microwave. If I get the same service that I got from my old microwave I'll be very happy. This one looks nice works well. Time will tell about the longevity

This Whirlpool over-range microwave is functionally superior to our previous one. The construction, keypad sensitivity, and cooking options are excellent. I also like the gentle alarms in place of the one that was tremendously piercing and overly repetitive, like my old microwave was constantly yelling at me!

This particular model had clean lines that we loved that also follow suit with the stove/range, refrigerator and dishwasher that all look great in our kitchen. This microwave is an over the range model. Geeks brought all of our appliances, installed them, (did a great job of it!), brought needed parts, and hauled our old ones away. So glad they had those services! The microwave was a bit tricky removing the old one and adapting to make changes for installing our new one. Micro itself is easy to use. We are people that do not like so many features that we end up never using. This one is user-friendly.

Replacing an 8 year old “1.0” version of this microwave was easy and the “2.0” feature improvements of this appliance are wonderful. Modern design, larger interior capacity, improved convenience buttons and alerts are excellent. We now have Maytag dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. Each are equally impressive.
Good, affordable microwave, replaced similar model

Have had this unit for about a month now, it was a replacement for our 10 year old Ikea model (also made by Whirlpool but no longer available at Ikea) that had sensors failing and would no longer turn on and it was an exact fit for the space, didn't even have to install a new bracket, used the old one that was already on the wall. It is a significant upgrade from the previous version of this model, has many more auto cook settings and the best part is the beep at the end is actually pleasant sounding rather than the annoying loud beep of the previous model. Hoping it lasts at least 10 more years.

The unit was everything it was advertised to be. Its quiet, the notification sounds are not too loud or annoying and the sensor cooking utility is handy. I'd recommend this microwave!

I have not tried all the functions yet but am happy so far with everything. Of course, there is more to learn as our old Whirlpool was 18 years old. It looks nice, too, matches everything else we have.

Great Whirlpool company and excellent new model. First we got confirmation email to pick up. The local Best Buy store helped us. Also, a representative put microwave in our car. It was easy to replace old model with a new one, because the size and bracket was the same. This microwave is working properly.
Thanks.

Upgraded from a Frigidaire microwave that came with our house and went out on us after 2 years. So far I like the way it looks and seems to get food hotter quicker. Also not as loud as previous one. One downfall is I haven’t figured out how to use timer and microwave at the same time. It always wipes out my timer and I have to guess how much time is left. Love it is finger print resistant. Looks much cleaners on a daily basis from a family of 5 using it. Hope it holds up longer than Frigidaire.

This microwave is loaded with great features and looks sharp! My only problem was with installation. The templates aren't exactly accurate. I ended up using the measurements given in the instructions and tossed the templates. Also, the nuts on top of the microwave for the top bolts pop out too easy. Had to take the 1st microwave back out, return it to store, wait another week for replacement to arrive, carry up upstairs and sure enough... the replacement microwave did the same thing while trying to thread the bolt in. The clips that hold the nut need to be stronger.

Replacement for the same model with what appears some upgrades. I like the new look with more of a glass front. This is to help stop more of the radiation it emits.
