This air conditioner is perfect for our home office. It cools quickly and efficiently, and the noise level is lower than other window a/c units we have. The multi-directional air deflectors are an added plus.

after talking to the salesman, I decided on this product. he tried to talk me into the more expensive one, but the specs, (btu, sq. footage, etc.), were all the same only thing different was the $30.00 price difference and that the one I wanted wasn't in stock and would have to be delivered. I had to pay the handyman to install it and when we turned it on, it did work. a couple of nights later when I turned it on and closed the bedroom door and closed up the rest of the house for the night and when I went back in to the bedroom, it wasn't cooled off at all! the recommended setting was on 5 and I thought maybe the bedroom was a little to big for it, but when i stood in front of the vents, it wasn't even cold or cooler, (the salesman said it that this size a/c would be fine for my room), so I turned it up to 6 and not much difference, barely cooler when I stood in front of the vent. turned it up to 7, the highest setting and at best, it was slightly cooler but not by much. it was actually cooler outside when I went to the kitchen then back to the bedroom, and yes, I had it on a/c not fan. total waste of money! guess i'll have to go someplace else and buy a decent one where the salespeople are more in tune with their products they are selling. don't waste your money!!!!
