Don't buy it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst product ever purchased. I bought this dishwasher along with a Whirlpool fridge. Both have problems. The normal cycle on the dishwasher stopped working within 6month, so I have been using the pots and pans cycle which is a waste of water and energy. However, the dishwasher stopped despense detergent three days after the warrenty(12mon) expired. So this dishwasher is completely useless now. The fridge door won't close tightly, if you close door with one hand, the door bounces open. I have been using one hand to hold the fridge and the other hand to close the door which is annoying. The fridge doesn't get cold at the recommended temperature. When you turn the temperature down, food close the back of the fridge get frozen. I am extremely unhappy about the quality of whirlpool product and will absolutely not buy it again.

Didn't last, problems from the get go
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this dishwasher in November of 2013, now 4 years later, it's been nothing but trouble. The control panel started doing weird things only a few months after installation, like buttons wouldn't respond, or you'd press one and another would light up. After about a year, this became frequent enough to be a problem, but we hadn't bought an extended warranty (you would THINK these things should last several years at least!). We found a replacement panel, but it is well over $100, and all they could offer was black, not white like the original. At this point, some of the buttons have even worn down through the plastic. Now as of January 2017, we have to leave the door open. When we close it, it randomly starts on it's own and runs at random. If we have company and they accidentally bump the door closed, we will wake up in the morning to find it running. Despite thorough routine cleanings of the tub, filter, sprayer arms, etc, it always smells bad, especially when it runs. You have to clean the sprayer arms, gunk gets built up inside, which means the water which cleans your dishes rins through it. We are now forced to buy a new one, and will absolutely not be shopping Whirlpool.
