The microwave is beautiful, works great, and cleans up super easy. I love the simmer/steam and soften/melt option. The only negative is the keypad is hard to read, not enough contrast.

This is my first Whirlpool product I purchased. I really like the appearance and it works very well. No noise.

Nice microwave, spaces, quite, good features. Not satisfied with fan ,gives excessive motor noise on med high& low speed.

Very elegant over the range microwave, perfect if you don't have a built in vent (has option to use vent or not). Love the sturdy build, and the sleek look as well as being very spacious.

Our last one was not upgrades when we upgraded the rest of the kitchen. This one is slightly bigger than our old one but was very easy to install. Was installed by myself. The unit is quite, sleek and has a lot of little features for it size. THe extra rack makes cooking easier when more is needed to be warmed up. Not a 100 big on the display but for the price, I can deal with it. These days you would think you get a sleek looking display and not the squared off look that seems outdated. Overall, I recommend this as it matched perfectly with my other whirlpool items and overall is still a great unit for the size and power.

I looked high and low for an over-the-range microwave that got good reviews from actual consumers, and this model was literally the only one I could find with nearly a solid 5 star rating, across the board. We have had this microwave for about a month, but were not home for about half of that time, so have only been using it for about 2 weeks. Because of this, I can't really speak about the reliability of this item, but I can say that it wasn't terribly complicated to install, and it is very easy to operate. It looks great, the microwave runs quietly (though the exhaust fan is about the same as any range hood fan I have heard). The light underneath is bright enough, and has 2 settings. The chime is a pleasant, musical sound rather than a startling BEEP BEEP BEEP, and it silences mid-tone if you open the door. The baked potato button works perfectly, as does the pizza button. Both seem to take a long time, but I believe that is because they don't cook at full-power, and the end results are wonderful. I haven't tried any other function buttons yet, but so far, so good. Also, there are on-screen instructions for all the functions, which is really helpful. I really have no complaints other than the fan maybe being a little under-powered. On high, I still end up with a lot of condensation on the front and under-side of the microwave if I am boiling water on a front burner. I would not hesitate to buy this item again.

To buy this microwave I spent so much time looking for the right one in price and performance, visit the store and try a few to hear how loud and a how big they are. I chose this one because this was one of the big ones, low priced, quite performance compared with the expensive ones. Loved the beep beep sounds as some reviewers said, not annoying at all. Blue light display that I loved. The fan is not loud compare with the one I had before. The light under is not that efficient, but I have good light on my kitchen. Loved the gray interiors. Overall looks and performance like an expensive one. We installed ourselfs, you will need help to do this because it's a heavy microwave. I use it everyday and have no complains.

Bought and installed the Whirlpool Microwave (2 person job when mounting it). The microwave is pretty quiet when operating and has a pleasant melodic alarm sound. Installing was pretty simple though double check the mounting instructions hole alignment sheet against the microwave itself before trying to mount it. Was off about 1/2 inch down on one hole and diagonally on another. Tough to adjust when you're holding the microwave up to screw it in. Looks nice and works well otherwise, replaced a highly rated Samsung microwave that died after 3 years of use!

This isn't a high end microwave but is a good one for the price if you're looking for a basic model. Has most of the standard features. I miss the one touch cook from our old GE microwave (pressing 1 is same as entering 1 minute of cook time and start) but I believe that is more of a GE feature. Runs pretty quiet and seems to heat food well. Also has several settings for popcorn, defrost, etc.

Microwave is great size and very quiet. Love how easy it is to program and operate.

Big, easy to install. Did not realize it vented through the roof when we bought it, it does only had to remove 3 screws and flip the fan/blower. Glad it does, was not looking forward to life without a true vent.

The microwave is nice and quiet. This was very easy to install with a single bracket. It is adjustable to overhead hood or direct vent. It is a 2 person job, but I was quite surprised how easy this was to install and work. It has a lot of option on cooking if you want more than just a standard re-heating microwave.

It looks great with all of our stainless steel appliances. It is easy to use and it has every feature on it that we wanted. Our other microwave was a Whirlpool and never gave us any trouble that is why we purchased a Whirlpool again. I would recommend it highly!

I had some problems ordering this item through Best Buy's eBay store but finally was able to order directly through BestBuy.com. When it got here the unit was damaged and could not be installed. I called Best Buy customer service and they shipped another one out without charging me extra and it arrived in 2 days, just in time for the contractor to install it! So kudos to Best Buy customer service, I then just returned the damaged unit to a nearby store. I will definitely give more consideration to buying from Best Buy in the future for that reason, but I hope they can improve their eBay store experience by not cancelling orders on items that are not in stock at a store near me at this moment but could easily be shipped to the store quickly. As for the microwave, it looks great and cooks fast. It has a wire rack to cook two items at once, which is very nice. It is easy to learn how to use it and does a nice job, so 4 stars.

Installation instructions were very clear and was easy to install. Heats food quick and evenly unlike our previous microwave. Very pleased with this purchase.

Works great. It had great reviews and features for the price were very appealing. Still learning/trying the feature buttons but the one's we have used work really well. Installation instructions were very clear, installed right on the first try (had to replace old wall bracket and drill new holes but it went very well). Highly recommended.

I have had this microwave for 6 months and use it every day. I am the 'Microwave Queen' because I cook almost everything in the microwave and rarely use my regular oven. This product is quite compared to my old microwave, cooks great, very easy to keep clean, has nice stream line design and looks great with my other appliances. I like the fact that the turntable can be turned off if desired. I don't like to hear the beeping sound when your food is done, but no problem, I just turned it off.

This microwave / range hood by Whirlpool is well designed. First it draws 450 Cubic feet per minute as a hood, which rivals most stand alone hoods. The microwave is roomy with one of the tallest internal spaces for more room. ( Measured from the top of the carrousel to the top of the inside. ) The keypad is easy to understand and use.

Was cautious on this item as people were telling me to buy a more expensive microwave or I would regret it. But this works great. Very quiet, looks great and happy with the product overall
