unit never worked properly as many reviews that I should have considered it was very hard to open the door you need to use 2 finger or you could hurt your finger using only one, it was too much trouble to unmount it to return it since it was wall mounted with the trim kit until finally stopped working after 13 months that the warranty expired so a total waste of money, no more Whirlpool appliances for me, do yourself a favor and stay away from this item.

Did not last long, burnt out within a 1 1/2 years.

It definitely got everyone's attention when it started up. We thought something was wrong with it, but it heated the food. Next trick was to get the food out. You could press it 10-15 times with no luck. We eventually figured out that if you pressed in just the right spot, held the button in, and wedged your finger in crack at the top, you could open it relatively consistently. Other times it would surprise you and open first or second time without special effort. We couldn't take it after about a week and had to return it.

We replaced a GE microwave with this one. It does the job it needs to do. One or two minor inconveniences compared to the GE we had - for example lack of one-touch quick start with the exception of the 30-second button. Not a huge deal, just surprised it wasn't a standard thing for a much newer product.

This is not the best microwave at all... I purchased it because I needed a black stainless steel microwave to go with my kitchen set that was Whirlpool black stainless steel but if I could change it I really would get a better one. It doesn't have a reheat feature and in fact has very limited features compared to my previous one that was a Panasonic. I hope they make a better one soon so I can sell that one and upgrade to a better Whirlpool black stainless steel microwave.

Had this brand before. Bought a little bigger this time but so far everything is great!

It fit perfectly in the space and looks great. It also matches seamlessly with all of my other whirlpool appliances.

We replaced our previous version (which was about 3 years old) of this model with this one and it works fine. It fits in the same space above our oven with the same decorative trim around it. Our previous one was getting glitchy where it didn't always seem to work right. Hopefully, this one lasts longer. It seems to be a little louder than the last one.

Delivered on time, installed easily into cabinet and works as exlpected.

I bought this from bb because my old one had a display fail (just after 2 years ) and my home warranty paid for the new one. New one came with damage on the door so I replaced the door with the old one but really it should've been flawless. If display fails that fast they should make it easier to replace. I guess it is not that easy if home warranty just pays for the entire unit.

Purchased to replace 2nd Whirlpool microwave. They typically last 3-5 years then you purchase a new one. Consider it a disposable product, and not worth the time or effort to repair.

This is an ok microwave to open the door you must push pretty hard but it gets the job done

I needed to replace a Microwave that had been installed in a cabinet so the size was critical. I found the perfect match. And except for a few of the controls looks and operates just like the old one. I'm very pleased over all with this microwave. There is just one annoying thing about it. The button that opens the door has a few quirks, but nothing major.

Great microwave, fits my kitchen. This is the third microwave I am changing to though, this model doesn't last long in the past. That's why I bought the best buy warranty. Only reason I am buying again is because it fits my space in the kitchen.

I had recently moved into a house that had old GE stainless steel appliances. I had a space up above next to the fridge that was perfect size for this full microwave. Decided on getting all new stainless steel Whirlpool appliances. This microwave is great. Never had any issues. Plus looks really good!

This was an excellent replacement for my previous 1.6 cu. Ft built in. No one carry’s black anymore. The only problem was the first order, the box arrived looking like it went through a war zone. Had to return it and reorder.

works fine, replaced built in whirlpool, almost same size, color black very vivid, easy to use, heats/cook good, recommended for built in or counter tops.

This oven replaced an older still working GE because it was white and my wife wanted stainless steel look. This oven is big and it works well, with the optional trim kit it looks great built in into the kitchen cabinet.

This microwave works well. looks good in the wall oven cabinet.
