The compressor made a loud humming sound that was not repairable and cooling was very low. Best Buy was very responsive but unfortunately it was a bad item.

Basically, the refrigerator stopped working before three weeks of delivery. Best Buy takes returns only for two weeks, even if the appliance is not working. They sent me to call the manufacturer, which is also an example of a third rate company. I will return the appliance one way or another, cancel my credit card with Best Buy and never return again.

May be ok if you don't have to move the hinges.

Fridge was delivered and I needed to move hinges so it opens on other side. All went well until the last hinge was to be moved on the top of the freezer part for the freezer door. You have to remove 3 plugs that cover the currently unused holes on the other side so you can install the hinge screws. The instructions were to pry them out with a putty knife. The plugs are made of some brittle plastic and all three broke off with plastic blocking the holes I need for the hinge.

the freezer compartment which is frost free , keeps freezing up it looks like snow in the freezer had a repairman come once, waiting for a second repairman, not happy so far with whirlpool

This was the worst best buy experience. They deliver the fridge with missing parts. The tech took note but nobody followed up that request.
Fridge door installed which our kitchen with left side cant be operable since there is a wall there. I told them you guys need to install to the right side but they said they cant do. When I purchase the fridge, nobody asked which side I prefer the door.

refrigerator did not work. Repair man came out to fix it and he was not able to fix it. Best buy picked it up and you did not have any more in stock. We received a refund, but we had to shop elsewhere. Very inconvenient. We liked to one we pick and now we had to settle for something else.

Ice maker confusion! What’s mess it is when nobody takes the time to listen these days. Multiple trips to try and attach the ice maker to our new frig but they keep sending tech with wrong stuff… the same stuff each time. We tell them it is wrong but they insist that they know better. Okay we will see how many times it takes… @ 4 trips still not fixed.

I am very upset because I have always loved Whirlpool fridges but this particular model is a total let down.
I just had a master home inspector tell me that this fridge/freezer wasn't cooling anymore even on the highest settings. I only bought it in March 2022. I need someone to service it ASAP.
