great dishwSher wouls reccommend to anyone looking

In first year silverware rack broke twice. Then the top rack 18 months in. Two of the four wheels broke. Then just over two year had to replace fill pump and drain pump. This repair cost more then purchase price. Now one month after previous repair it fills but will only cycle ever other time. Have to drain and restart. Never putting $$ into new whirlpool product nor repair.

I have no complaints on the dishwasher it runs great. But, the plastic pins to the wheels on the rack broke already. Luckily, I purchased extra the Geek Squad warranty.

First the top rack wheels broke less than 6 months after purchase. It seems to be a known/common problem with machine because whirlpool sells the repair kit. Then the soap dispenser door stopped opening. Now, at less than three years old, the pump died. A piece of junk and waste of money.

First let me say the dishwasher itself is very nice. The delivery/install service was the worst I've ever seen! Was over 4 hours late for this appointment, made a huge mess and damaged my home! Absolute clowns! All I get is the run around when trying to get compensation for my experience! I will never buy another appliance from them!

It washes bad, sometimes it's glitching, It's a head ache. Old previous dishwashers worked much better. Don't buy it,

Takes way to long for a cycle over 3 hours. That's crazy.

We are very disappointed with this dishwasher. It is supposed to be energy saving, but the short-light wash takes 1 hour 35 minutes! The full length wash is ridiculous. Even using the recommended Cascade pod and rinse agent, "clean" plastic dishes have a white powdery film. China and glassware do come out well.

Pump broke multiple times, and it never cleaned that well even when it did work.

I bought this dishwasher initially as part of a 3 appliance package sale deal and as an open box. I typically have no issues with open box items and spoke with the salesman who pulled the inventory tag and relayed that there was no missing parts or damage issues. Once I got the unit home it was missing parts, which best buy replaced for me. Upon full unpacking when I went to install I noticed that it had been dropped or something and the top was caved in. Best Buy did take it back, I guess be more careful of open box, but usually I don't have any issues with them from Best Buy.

Ok product. Had greater expectations from a whirlpool. Washes ok, doesn't dry well even on heat dry settings. Dishes stay wet and unless you manually dry they will stay wet and get mold/rust spots.

I've owned this for 3 months. I'm happy with the way it runs (very quiet) and cleans (no spots or leftover crumbs). The filter is easy to clean. I love the silverware holder fitting onto the door as it's such a space saver! Unfortunately after only 2 months of use, the rollers (that smoothly rolls out the bottom rack) completely broke off. After 3 months of use, now it is leaking. So I will try to get help from customer service and if they are helpful, then I will update my review. Overall I was pleased with it, but after having issues only a few months into use, now I'm concerned about the longevity.

The dish washer has broken down 2 times with a bad pump and it doesn't clen vary well

This has been the worst dishwasher ever. Had only 1.5 years and the first month the spray arm broke than every few weeks another part would break. My top rack doesn't have wheels anymore and my bottom has lost all Of them by one. Can't move drawers in or out. And the racks are actually breaking off also. I tried numerous times to contact the company and no one will help.

It's 4 years old and now it's not working. It definitely should last a lot longer than that.

We have been using this dishwasher a little over a month now. We recently purchased a new home and needed a new fridge. We bought the stainless steel whirlpool in the gold series. When the dishwasher went we wanted them to match. However, the gold series dishwasher didn't have the best reviews. I have never had a new dishwasher and wanted one I could throw anything in and it would come out clean. We don't have the best water and previously even with a rinse aid our dishes would come out with spots. We did a lot of researched and decided to upgrade while we could afford it through the Black Friday sale and went with this dishwasher to have the stainless steel drum inside. So far we have been very impressed. We installed it ourselves. It's quiet. It has many different settings. I can put in almost any dirty dish and it will come out spot free clean. Emphasis on almost. Once in a while a baked on dish needs to be run through twice. It also doesn't do a great job on silverware. I hate doing dishes and being able to just put anything in the dishwasher was a plus. However, silverware still needs to be prewashed if you put the basket on the door or the outside of the basket. We haven't tried putting it in the inside to the left or right of the lower rack yet. Will try that to see if it gets the silverware cleaner. In taking the silverware basket off the rack a piece broke off the other day. Whirlpool is sending a new part free of charge. Great customer service. 4 stars as I'm slightly disappointed in the silverware rack not cleaning as well as the rest of the dishes.
