Customers commend the 24" Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub for its quiet operation, excellent cleaning performance, and ample capacity. Many appreciate the stainless steel tub and find it easy to use and clean. While some users noted minor issues with the silverware rack and installation, the positive feedback on cleaning ability and noise level outweighs these concerns. The dishwasher's appearance also receives positive comments.

I had a great experience purchasing from BestBuy. I bought all of my new home appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, ovan, flour mixer machine). All were delivered on time and safely. The delivery guys were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend buying from BestBuy.

    Totally Disappointed

This doesn't get dishes as clean as they could be unless you use the 3 hour and 19 minute setting. That's too long and a waste of water. Also, even when I use the heat dry and I open the dishwasher the next day, there are still dishes that are wet in there. I got this one on sale, and I wish I had bought a Samsung instead.

5 years and already needing replaced!

We have had this now for several years. I feel like we can make a solid review. Doesn’t clean like one would think. The plastic on the upper rack couldn’t withstand the heat of the water and had to be replaced within a few months of use. The steel tub is a plus and stays clean. Works better with liquid detergent than with pods. It’s starting to have its issues (i.e. only fills with water and doesn’t wash the dishes and then drains the water out) after 5 years of use.

beware if you get geek squad to install

I bought this Whirlpool dishwasher and have been quite pleased with it so far but within a couple of months it wouldn't drain. Turned out just the drain line was kinked so nothing wrong with dishwasher but when inspecting the cause I noticed that the Geek Squad (I paid for installation) did not upgrade my water line to the stainless steel one I was required to buy and left my 17 year old plastic one in. This bothered me as recently a friends dishwasher leaked and left extensive damage to where all of their hardwoods had to be replaced. If I pay $150 for installation I expect them to upgrade my water line to the one I bought. I called to complain and got routed to a few different Best Buy folks last of which 'was looking into it' and would call me back. Never heard from them again-I am sure being I was no longer within the return period so they don't care. So-if you decide to buy the installation, assume they are doing the minimum and make sure you watch them so they are installing your entire kit. I for one will never hire geek squad for installation again.

    Do Not Buy

This dishwasher got very good reviews, plus it's Whirlpool so I had no reservations buying it. I've had it for several months and, no matter what I try, my dishes are always dirty. The coffee cups come out with coffee stains. Almost all of the utensils have to be rewashed every day. All of the glasses have debris inside. EVERYTHING has a scummy film on it. I tried every wash cycle, all different detergents, various rinse agents. I finally called for service. The service man told me is uses less than a gallon of water and needs a rinse agent. I bought the recommended rinse agent. It has gotten rid of the scummy film but I still have dirty coffee cups and glasses. I really think I should be entitled to a new dishwasher. I don't have time for this nonsense. The only thing the dishwasher is doing now is covering up a hole in the kitchen because I wash everything. It takes me longer to run the dishwasher and clean them than to just wash everything by hand.

    What a waste of Money!

I bought this when I remodeled my kitchen in late 2016. At the time it was $500.00 and I received a discount because I bought it off of a friend who worked in an appliance store. It washed fine for a while and then my dishes were not getting clean. It washes forever and still I have dirty dishes. My old dishwashers always cleaned my dishes. Recently the soap dispenser's gasket broke and I had to buy a used detergent dispenser just to get the detergent door with the gasket. The past two plus years it has been working intermittently. Now all it does it fill with water and drain as it goes through the cycle. I have had dishwashers that NEVER broke. I replaced them for a new model because it was old and time. There is nothing I can do except spend hundreds for service or spend another $500 plus dollars for another brand. I am very disappointed with Whirlpool and this dishwasher. Not a happy camper here. Don't waste your money.

    Cleans with dirty water

Never really worked...we had 4 callouts during ownership; the main fault being a failure to drain the dirty water fully, pre-final rinse. Took out Geek Squad coverage, but despite repeated repairs, we are still left with a dishwasher that half cleans. Once again we've the same fault; at the end of the cycle, we open the door to soiled plates and cutlery, but guess what...the coverage has now expired. First and last time buying Whirlpool

    Whirlpool dishwaser (WDT780SAEM1) doesn't work

After reading the high ratings for this Whirlpool dishwasher (model WDT780SAEM1), I bought it and had it installed in August. So far, I only used it four times. It only worked the first time when I test-used it. For the subsequent three times, it took an extremely long time (5-8 hours) for the dishwasher to complete one wash cycle. And the dishes were not washed clean (big water spots and food debris all over). There was also a lot (I mean a lot) of water moisture in the dishwasher even I used the heat/dry mode. This is bad product. Avoid it.

    Failed Under 5 Years

We have had this dishwasher for 6 years. It failed the first time just under 5 years and has failed again. The dishwasher we had before this one lasted 20 years. Nothing is made to last anymore.

    Piece of crap

Control board failed 4 times in 2-year; luckily I bought the extended warranty from Home Depot but even dealing with Warranty was no easy feat... I would avoid both Whirlpool dishwashers and warranty from Asurion
