Washer was a great price and performs great with a number of settings/cycles, including additional rinses with and without auto adding fabric softener and even a washer cleaning option. Capacity size is good for small family, Have owned for two months and only complaint is the balance cycle can be very loud to where you think the machine is breaking down and doesn't always balance out. It will start a cycle of balance, loudly stop (the noise you hear is the barrel catching), wait and then try again as it is trying to shift the load. But if you pause the cycle and adjust manually, there really isn't anything heavier on one side over the other. Could just be my luck or loads though...overall, great machine for price, washing options and performance.

Just recently purchased this washer with the matching dryer and was pretty happy with the price/value. However, it does run loud. It has simple controls, everything you need, not many extras, and it has the old school agitator, which was something I wanted if I was going to stick with a top-load washer. So far my only complaint is the volume at which it runs through its cycle. Given that my laundry room is right behind my living room space and I have tile floors, it makes watching TV while washing clothes a little more challenging...what did Saul just say? I will never know...thank you quiet voice track!

We are very pleased with both the store and the product, once we finally got it home and turned on. The first one was dented and didn't work. I was not satisfied with the help online as the rep couldn't even get through to the store on the phone, couldn't solve my problem and was increasingly impatient with me. However, once we went back to the store, everyone including the manager was efficient and polite and got the problem solved. The washer itself makes some weird noises while working (the instructions warn you about them) but is doing a great job with our clothes.

Decent size, capacity and features for price. You probably can get much bigger, silent and energy efficient ones if you are willing to pay more. I would still go with this for the price.

I was hesitant to purchase this washer because of previous reviews stating that it leaves clothes too wet. I have had the washer for 2 months and I have had no issues with it at all. It's a great washer for the money. I like that it doesn't have the agitator in the middle because it's easier to load clothes. It does lock the lid while it's running so you can't add clothes without pausing the cycle. Not a big deal for me. Also, it's a little noisy...sounds a little like a computer printer. I'm very happy with my purchase and would purchase again.

I love my washing machine! It is easy to use, with plenty of options to ensure it works efficiently. It has more than sufficient space in the drum for my family of three, and the clothes come out clean and fresh. The cycle runs longer than my previous washing machine, but I don't have a deadline for laundry, so it doesn't bother me. And our laundry room is on the first floor, so I do hear the machine even with the door closed. But it is not distracting in the least. I stop noticing it after the first couple of minutes and only pay attention again when I realize it's done the cycle. I would recommend this for the price, absolutely.

I bought this washer because I wanted a simple, dependable, and sturdy washer to last 10+ years. I researched this brand and felt good about buying a Whirlpool, especially since I texted my friends and asked them to all recommend a brand. Whirlpool had the most votes. It's a bit loud, but I can close the laundry room door and the noise is contained. Works great, washes well, the price was right, delivery was included, and Best Buy hauled away our old washer, thank heavens. Happy customer.

For the $500 pricepoint, this washer had the most positive reviews. To its credit, it is easy to use, has a lot of wash cycle choices and cleans clothes well. Total wash time is 35-40 min. The big negative is it is very loud. There is a loud thump every 10 minutes as it either switches from wash to spin, or spin to rinse. Not exaggerating, the washer is in my basement and I hear it very clearly 2 floors up in our bedroom. It's not against a wall and it is hooked up properly. So for a basic washer it is great, but for noise, there is a lot of room for improvement.

Our dryer suddenly quit working, so my husband and I set out to buy a used washer/dryer set. Because it wasn't a planned purchased we hadn't saved for what we thought a new set would cost. After a torturous day of realizing people were asking way too much for a used set, we realized we could pay just a little more for a nice NEW set. We found this set on sale for the same price at three different locations, and knew it was the one we wanted. But the customer service we received from Best Buy was excellent, so we purchased from them. I love that the washer has a feature that allows you to choose how many rinse cycles, and if you want to use fabric softener. With my old washer you had to "listen" for the the rinse cycle and hope you remembered to add fabric softener. It has cycles for everything you could need to wash, but it is not too over the top. I think it's a perfect combination of simple and fancy. I read numerous reviews before purchasing and noticed a lot of people complaining about how loud the washing machine is. I will say it is louder than my old washing machine, but I think it was because it was making a noise my ears were not used to hearing. After a few loads of laundry I barely notice it anymore. Besides, it just the sound of the agitator spinning, letting me know that it's doing its job. When I pull my clothes out, they smell great and they aren't tangled together. All in all, the price and efficiency of this washer made it a great purchase for our family! I actually love doing laundry now! (I'm just waiting for the machine that folds everything for you!)

Exactly what I was looking for - just want to wash my clothes and put them in the dryer or hang them to dry. I am single and don't need all the extras. Great capacity and does an excellent job of cleaning.

The first time we turned on the washing machine we had a ride of noises with our new washing machine . The water fills up slowly and was quieter than our previous washer. Then came the agitator. We looked at each other like we were suddenly on a different planet. My husband describes it as a dying goose. We were very concerned because the laundry room is right next to our living room area. After a half dozen or so washes we are used to it, and actually think it is quieter than our old Maytag. The agitator noise is only part of the cycle. There are different types of cycles: normal, casual, etc. and have figured out the quieter agitator cycle. I like that the washer itself takes up less space, but the tub is just as large as our previous extra capacity washer. The most important part is that it seems to clean well. That's the main point of a washer, right?

I am satisfied with this product. 3.6 cu. ft. allows for large loads of laundry, yet the size is not bulky at all. Clothes come out clean and well rinsed. The washer has several options in terms of cycles, water temperatures and other, which allows to take care of a variety of washing needs. The product appearance is nice and the operation is not excessively noisy.

This washer has been good to me after 3 months. It has a large capacity, it washes clothes well and was not torn anything up and it washes fairly quickly. Some people complained about the noise but I heard nothing out of the ordinary. The price could have been a little lower - only reason I gave it 4 stars vs 5.

Seems to launder well, but is the noisiest machine I've ever used! Located in basement, I can hear the spin cycle on 2nd floor of house! If noise bothers you, look for something else.

Years of use with many different types of washers, Years of research on washers. Years of service on washers. Our results: This is the product you want! Whirpool has similar models that are outstanding too. The most important thing is to forget fancy, complex, front loading, computer calculating, and self adjusting water level types of washers. The "good ol" washing machines are the best! They are simple, reliable, last a long time, and when service is needed parts are readily available and very economical.
