    After using the self clean for the first time, the oven elements won't turn on periodically and it won't preheat. Sometimes if we turn it on and off several times it will start. Will be reaching out to Whirlpool to get it fixed we hope, not what you want when you drop $2,000 on an appliance. Wish they'd just keep it simple, these fancy digital ones just have more that can break.

    Replacement for non working ovens

    I like the product. Had no problems with it for 13 years. Then it wouldn’t turn on. New ovens have not been installed, so I can’t comment on them. Hope they last as long as my previous unit.

    We've had the oven for about 3 months and I love it except for....When first installed the clock kept resetting back to the factory time/date. At first we thought it was the electricity going out but soon discovered that it was the only electric clock in the house that it was happening to. The service tech came out and replaced the computer and that now seems to be working fine. Trying to figure out to work all the features is a little confusing but will read the manual and figure it out. Also, we have had the same problem as another reviewer in that when the top door is opened during cooking the steam comes out and changes the setting or shuts the oven off completely. This is very frustrating. The control panel seems to be very sensitive and that seems like a serious design flaw. I will plan to reach out to Whirlpool and see what can be done about that. This is my second Whirlpool oven and hoping they stand by their product and figure out a solution to this issue.

    Very disappointed

    In less than 2 years, bottom oven is not working correctly and burns my heat regardless of what temp I put. I called whirlpool and instead of offering me a replacement or other options, I was told they could not help me since they no longer make the piece that needs to be replaced. Such a big and reputable company, I was shocked that they were so quick to say they can't help me.

    Seriously, do not buy

    Seriously do not buy it. If you are considering it, look at the reviews with issues. We got this with a new build and did not have a choice. Thought it was fine but two issues: - It now will not turn off. We almost left the house for a while and realized it was on. Now we have to flip a breaker to turn it off. Our neighborhood all has the same oven and we are not the only ones this has happened to and many, many reviews on the Whirlpool site will talk about it not turning off. - Second, the touchscreen is junk - if you are baking anything that generates any steam, once you open the door the steam rises and hits the touchscreen which then jumps between menus, turns off, changes the temp, etc. And you cannot touch to control it until the steam dissipates. Who the heck tested an oven with steam for issues?

    Worst oven

    This is what you get when the marketing department overrides the designers and engineers. Touch screens aren't reliable in humid environments or those with large temperature swings. Whirlpool has found THE WORST possible control system for their products, because some idiot thought it looked neat. On top of that horrible idea, they've managed to overlook the key feature of an oven timer: it needs to be loud enough to get your attention. The chime is a joke, barely audible within the same room. Any hopes you carried that you could carry on a simple conversation while waiting for your dinner, abandon them now.

    Really bad

    Embarrassingly bad build quality. Clock runs too fast, needs to be adjusted every week. Fan runs for hours after using the oven. I've owned this for one year and now all the sound went out. I'll never buy another whirlpool product again.

    Received this oven a month ago and still waiting on a part so the oven half will work. Microwave works fine but steer clear of this model, obviously, there is a problem with this entire line, funny how they contine to keep selling it....
