Burners are fast to reach temperature, but I have already developed a whitish ring around the burner I use the most often. The oven cooks evenly.

Element(s) Not Glowing
Elements start and stop glowing when turned on because the cooktop elements cycle on and off. This prevents the cooktop from reaching extreme temperatures that may damage the glass surface. In low settings, such as Keep Warm, the elements do not glow but will maintain the right temperature.
This also applies when using the warming element, simmer, or warm zone features. The simmer control knob has two settings: Simmer and Normal. When the control is set to Normal, the element will function as a single, a dual, or a triple element. When the simmer control knob is set on Simmer, the cooking area will not glow red.

The Control Lock feature prevents the unintended use of the cooktop and oven. For specific information on your model, please see your owner's manual.
Is the power cord plugged in, or has a household circuit breaker(s) tripped or fuse(s) blown?
Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet with a dedicated circuit (240V receptacle for electric ranges).
Reset the circuit breaker(s) or replace the fuse(s). If the problem continues, call an electrician.

The main issue is that the glass cooktop is basically no-mans zone in the middle and seems like they could have added more and made it look better, not having a number pad is annoying as say you need to increase the preheart or use the time you are pressing the up or down arrow all the time, not having the numbers on two of the dials is annoying so you cant really tell if something is like middle low heat, for the discounted price it was on sale for I think I paid 949.99 before tax on sale its worth it I guess, but it is absolutely not worth it at list price at all.

White rings built around burners and wont come off with anything. Oven works fine though
