I bought the 5yr protection plan. The fan had to get replaced. The new fan didn't even last a year and it went again. Now I need to pay out of pocket for it because the protection plan has gone. Not a great purchase

Exactly what we needed! We had a drop in that came with the house and unexpectedly died. After several days of research we chose this range. It was on sale, and they offered free delivery which just sweetened the deal. After cutting out the lower cabinet to make room for a slide in, It fit right in place and works great. The oven selections are phenomenal.

Love the stove works great and cosmetically looks great in the kitchen. You won't be disappointed. The heating elements on the stove cook evenly (great control over heating elements).

Range has surpass my expectations. Only drawback is the upkeep of the top surface, it takes a lot of effort to keep it pristine.

THE WARRANTY, AND THE QUALITY, AND THE STYLING, AND THE EASY ABILITY TO INSTALL AND SELECT THIS PRODUCT.....

I have issues from the stove. takes a long time to gt hot. 12 months after purchase stopped working

Changed out appliances to stainless steel and selected this model electric range. ON LOOKS: Not Much Stainless Steel except for a small frame around the oven door and the thin gauge stainless steel draw below the oven. ON QUALITY: Top cook top surface scratches very easy, plastic frame that encompasses the coven controls, Wire racks in oven very flimsy, Draw beneath oven also very flimsy. ON PERFORMANCE: Large oven that takes longer to heat up and maintain, Convection doesn't perform as well as other ovens. Self Cleaning Oven feature is practically non-existent, does not perform the same way as other ovens ( You will find yourself cleaning the oven), Cook Top spills of any kind (Water, Sauce, Broth) are very difficult to clean. OVERVIEW: It appears Whirlpool didn't design this oven with operational use in mind but instead appearance for the sake of high price without high quality. I have had other smooth cook top electric ranges before and this product is a step backwards. For this price I would have expected lasting quality with more and better features.

The stainless steel trim wrapped around the front control is white plastic painted with "stainless steel look" paint. It looks very cheap now since the paint rubs off very easily without using abrasive detergents or scour pads. I've only cleaned it with a sponge! Whirlpool customer service said it was cosmetic defect and will not cover it under their warranty after 30 days. I've also had the knobs replaced because the original knobs had a design flaw (which Whirlpool customer service admitted to) which prevented the burners from turning off and I've burned myself. Whirlpool escalated the issue and I've got new knobs. Price really not reflecting the quality. Maybe that's why they've pushed so hard on having me buy extended warranty so they can get some more money out of me.

In the past 8 months, since I purchased this range, the oven light has gone out twice. The bulb was replaced in March and is now out again. An easy fix, not if you can not pull the range out to unplug it and can not physically replace the bulb. Whirlpool does not cover the bulb and will not check the light itself unless I pay the cost of a repair. This does to seem right to me.
