Very happy with this washing machine. It’s not too loud and does a good job getting the clothes clean. I’m not sure if I see an impact with the steam cleaning though. I’ve used it a couple times and not sure if it makes much of a difference.

A great washer for a small family. Has more than enough settings, bells, and whistles for the average user. Easy to use and cleans clothing pretty decently.

We bought this to replace our front load washing machine. This one was well reviewed, some complained of noise. The machine itself is exceptionally quiet, the only noise is sloshing water and the water being pumped out. Would recommend this to anyone.

Changing from a front load to this type of machine was going to take some getting used to..but.. I didn't expect my clothes to only get wet in places while other areas stayed dried. I also didn't expect to have to rinse everything 2 and 3 times before the soap (even H/E provided with machine) spots off my clothes. While it may save water when used as directed...having to run the rinse cycle twice more would have to use up any hoped for savings.

I am very happy with the performance of my Cabrio washer. It cleans to meet my expectations at multiple load types. The display is intuitive and easy to use.

I love this washer. I have never done laundry as quickly as I have with my cabrio.

I have 2 teenage boys that go through allot of cloths , it handles the tough stains and huge capacity for cloths .... Highly recommend

Again, super functions offered. I really like the self cleaning mode, it really keeps odors at bay. I like being able to select my load style or need step by step and the ring tones are kinda cool too! Nice large capacity fits an overside dryer!

New and modern, works very well and quiet. Cleans and dry very well.

I bought this high-efficiency top-loader as a replacement for a front-loader. I liked the very large tub and of course the supposed reduced water usage. After a month of use, I've found that this washer can't rinse large items or heavy clothing like sweatshirts using its standard cycles. These things must be washed using "deep water" settings and frequently also require extra rinses. I've also found that its loads get out-of balance easily, especially if the high spin speed is used, and since the machine does not stop when it senses an out-of-balance load, it can take a walk across the floor. I no longer use the high-speed spin function. It was, alas, only after I bought it that I found reviews on several sites describing its poor rinse performance. (I'll note here that the Whirlpool customer service person I spoke to claimed to have no knowledge of this problem, so of course could offer no solutions.) I've figured out some workarounds but obviously the efficiency claims for this washer are exaggerated at best. I would not buy this model again, won't weep when I replace it, and would definitely not recommend it.

We have used for a month now and we are very satisfied, no complaints at all. Not having an agitator is good for fabrics and increases capacity. The choices for various cycles are great.

I had a Cabrio before I bought this one. My older one finally bit the dust and I had to purchase a new washer. They didn't have the 5.3 cu ft one in store, so I got the 4.8 one. Man! I was really shocked at the load the washer can actually handle. I thought for sure it wouldn't do loads as big as my original washer, but it does!!!!! I've washed, I KNOW at least 9/10 towels as a load (some of those being beach towels) and I still had room to add a few more, if I wanted. I have a family of 4 and the 4.8 sufficiently handles all of our needs for a washer hands down. I also bought the 5 year warranty for the washer. Again, hands down a great washer!

My clothes were dirty and I had a lot of them that needed washing. I bought this machine and it capably washes my dirty clothes. The large capacity made allowed me to use my time to enjoy the finer things in life instead of washing clothes.

I was worried about this purchase when reading reviews, but I am really happy with this washer. It is not noisy, it cleans really well and uses a lot less water which has cut my drying time in half. I would highly recommend this washer

It seems to take a little longer to wash clothes than I am used to. I will have to wait until I receive an electric bill to analyze the energy efficiency.

I only had it a couple months. It has a lot of nice features. The only thing I wish the agitator was bigger doesn't seem to deep clean. But maybe there's a setting for that. I'm still new at it.

I don't know why people were complaining about the noise it makes because it's only about 10% the noise off our old washer.
