I have lately developed an interest in rock music from the 60s and 70s and I had heard The Who music used as openers for CSI and the spinoff shows. This was a really great intro into The Who's music and I really enjoyed listening to it.

The new track makes it worth getting this set, and all the old tracks aren't bad either! Any compilation is going to have detractions, cos you can't make everyone happy, but they did a great job, the sound is solid without being harsh or too compressed. I enjoy it all, and the new track is the best thing they've done since "Eminence Front!" Thanks, Pete and Rog!

All the classics, and some tracks I'd never heard before. I'd highly recommend this CD set for anyone starting a Who collection, and anyone wanting to get a good collection of tracks...

If you're a classic rock lover, then The Who at 50 is for you!

This cd has all of the greats on it. A must have for any Who fan.

Great. Excellent anthology of Who songs. You must have it.

Yes, this is yet another greatest hits repackaging of familiar songs by The Who, but there is more to be found than the usual six-pack songs. The songs making this even better include the opening track by The Who's first iteration, The High Numbers, doing the song "Zoot Suit", the cover of The Rolling Stones "The Last Time", the extended mono version of "Magic Bus", "Dogs", the single versions of classics "See Me, Feel Me" and "Won't Get Fooled Again" and the new track, "Be Lucky". If you've never owned a set of Who songs, this is a perfect one to get. Even if you've heard the songs a million times, there are still things to be found here for die-hard fans.

Didn't buy this upon release because as a Who fanatic I had almost all of these songs already. But having neglected to buy a t-shirt at the concert because I didn't really care for the designs offered, I went out and got the deluxe package that included the t-shirt. This also comes with the new song "Be Lucky" which is quite good and deserves some airplay!

My girlfriend bought me this music. The music is great but I could never answer the question on the front cover "Who hits 50"? I still do not know who hit 50 and by the way, 50 what? Regardless, the music is great even though I do not know and could never figure out who the artist is plus I have no idea 50 of what was hit by whoever who is.

This cd set really celebrates 50 years of a legendary band. The ultimate collection is,of course, the entire collection but this has to be one of the best compilations for a group that is no stranger to compilations. 50 hits and 50 cheers for Geffen records !

This album is great to have for a new or old Who fan. Songs vary from the sixties all the way to their new song "Be Lucky". The exclusive t-shirt is also a great bonus.

The best reason to buy this Who comp is the improved sound quality. I have the Then and Now and Ultimate Collection comps and Who Hits 50! Is less compressed.
