I purchased this and decided that it wasn't what I liked.

Movie kept you in suspense. There were some parts that you could guess what was about to happen though

I love movies and I think Jennifer Lawrence is a very good actress. As I understand, this movie put her on the map so to speak. It is just a dark, depressing movie and I could have lived without seeing it.

This is a older movie that we have not seen and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

I had read the book a long time ago. The movie is intense and very moving. I love Jennifer Lawrence in this as well. She is a great actress

I am writing my review now, while I see this opportunity, before having seen the actual movie. I saw this in one of those clearance bins for like $4.99 while Christmas shopping and had to grab it up. I have not had the chance to sit down and watch it yet, but I am sure I will enjoy it. I am on a Jennifer Lawrence kick right know after her phenomenal performance in Silver Linings Playbook. I have heard good reviews on this film and have heard the premise. I am eager to see how the movie is. (Will try to post a subsequent review later).

Doesnt leave you with a warm comfy feeling for sure but you come away feeling better about what you have

I was working at Blockbuster when this came out. The first time I watched it I loved it. Very good in my opinion.

If you like suspense/triller movies you’ll enjoy this one. Edge of your seat type of movie. A must see.

Winter Bone is a awesome movie because it has the best actress in it. Jennifer Lawrence. Enough said lol

Used it for a fishing charter and the quality of both the pictures and the video are fabulous.

It got booted off netflix and I wanted to watch it again. I saw it one week when I went to pay on my card in one of those $5 bins. Interesting flick. Basically a meth cook comes up missing after putting his house up so he could get out on bond. His family is about to lose their home if he doesn't turn up for his court date. His daughter Jennifer Lawrence, who take care of the family goes on the hunt to find them.

Movie wasn't that good it was boring took to long to get to the movie

Although there are no ghosts, witches or anything supernatural WINTER'S BONE is a modern slice of Southern Gothic Horror at it's finest. A pitch and picture perfect cast led by young pre-superstardom Jennifer Lawrence and a menacing John Hawkes, this one will grip you, give you serious chills and stick with you for hours. Perhaps the most underrated drama of the past decade.

This movie flew under the radar until it became Oscar eligible. How did everybody miss it? Jennifer Lawrence absolutely mesmerizes with her performance. Talk about an indication of things to come! I wouldn't say this is a feel good movie so don't go into it thinking "Date Night Movie?" It's more a "Let's Get Depressed and Put on a Smiths Album!"
