Pros: easy to use, accurate, reliable, 2 second read time, automatic app syncing, uses AAA batteries Cons: initial setup was somewhat laborious Review: We bought this to replace a traditional thermometer with an 8 second read time. Our daughter could rarely hold still the eight seconds for an accurate reading, so the 2 second read time is a huge win. I also like that it uses regular AAA batteries, as there are few things more frustrating than a dead button battery in a thermometer when you've got a sick kid in the house.

There are a plethora of much more affordable devices to take your temperature but none of them are nearly as cool as Withings' Thermo. The measurements are reliable which is obviously important and it all syncs with Withings' HealthMate app and is also Apple HealthKit compatible too (at least I believe it is). It's fun to use, innovative, easy to keep clean, aesthetic, and reliable. There are cheaper options but they won't be nearly as appealing.

This thermostat is amazing. With two adults and two kids (5 yr old & 5 mo old), I'm able to keep track of any of our temperatures at any time by creating profiles for each of us and saving each temperature reading to the profiles, which I can view anytime on my phone in the app. It's incredibly accurate as well. $100 seems steep, but well worth it now. After going through a round of fevers in the house, having a simple, intuitive, smart thermostat around made a difference. It also kept the wife at ease with the baby's temps and being able to accurately keep track. I highly recommend getting one.

I have a Withing smart scale, so when this came out I thought I would take a look. Basically, once you pair it to an app on your phone (which was easy enough) it was ready to go. You place it on your forehead and drag it to your temple and it gives you the temp immediately and allows you to track trends for multiple people. I have myself, my wife, and both of my kids in there and we can check and track things easily. The reason I like this device is that it's so quick to use, and it's much more sanitary than the thermometer in the mouth. It's pricey so it might not be for everyone, but I would still highly recommend it.

I bought this primarily for my one year old son, the temporal thermometers available are usually difficult to get a good reading. The Withings Thermo gives consistent reading the first attemp and is so simple to use. Each time you take a temp, you can assign it to a family member and the app logs the reading with a date stamp. You can add symptoms and medication in the app to give your doctor a review of what's been going on with your child. Another great product from Withings.

So i have a few Withings products and have always reviewed all of them. They're products are expensive but have always been fairly accurate fromt heir scales to Blood Pressure monitors. I've been looking for a smart thermometer for a while however none were truly worth the price premium or offered accuracy of a traditional oral. Temporal artery thermal scanning is actually very accurate and there are a very few circumstances in which it may not work appropriately for you. So if you are older with multiple co-morbidities then i would recommend a discussion with your physician before purchasing this. However for the general population and especially kids/adolescents this is excellent. The best part is for infants you can test the temperature without actually even touching them.. For neurotic mothers that want to test every 30min this is excellent! you can let the child rest and track the temperature. The accuracy is descent, compared to a medical grade ear thermometer it has always been within 0.5 degrees, generally about 0.1-0.2 degrees lower which really makes no difference diagnostically. If you are in the market for a smart, monitoring thermometer then this is prolly the one to go with. Many of the others still require sanitary replacement covers, are invasive and not any more accurate. This will also display the temperature without the smartphone or internet so can be used anywhere.

While Withings' products are a little pricey, they are exceptionally designed and well thought out. Being able to take a temp with no contact in 2 seconds is great when you have a houseful of sick individuals during flu season and can keep a rolling chart for each member of your family. It really helps when discussing things with the doctor! I highly recommend!

So cool! The easiest and most accurate thermometer I have ever used. I love that you can print out temperature history and give to doctor. Seriously, worth the price, and Withings has other products that you can link up together. I love the future!

Never thought I'd be reviewing a thermometer, but this is a great piece of tech to have around the house - especially if you've got a sick baby! Very accurate, hygienic due to no touch readings. Price isn't the best, but I recommend.

Picked this up on sale and couldn't be happier with the product. I like that it tracks the time of the temperature reading and that you can input symptoms and medication information.

We have purchased at least 3 other thermometers in the last two years and nothing has been reliable. When our daughter is sick, she doesn't want to sit still for a reading. The Thermo is so fast and doesn't have to touch her skin. I would never use anything else and I am encouraging my clinic to purchase one for our patients!

This thermometer is really great if you have young children especially infants. It's always been a struggle to use any oral type thermometer for children, but this thermometer allows to take a temperature reading without even having to touch someone. Thus reducing the risk of getting germs on it and also not risking waking a sick child. A free App is available that allows you to create profiles for member of your household and assign temperature readings to each person. The display is large making readings easy to view. A must have device!

Using it is fairly simple. Requires a separate app than the Withings app to manage which is less than ideal. I like the ability to log with notes for future reference

I purchased this thermo because of the ease of use. I like the idea that it is electronic and easily viewable.

Quick and easy to use. I used it on my two year old and he didn't fuss at all. Also seems very accurate

Easy to use right out of the box. User friendly. Instructions were clear and concise. The app is also useful to document the temperature of the individual who you are taking temps of, and for any medication that you have given/taken. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase. I would definitely recommend to friends.

Easy to use and track your temperature, especially when sick.

I bought this thermometer to check mom's temperature once awhile and keep reading in my phone. A set up did not take long time and a measurement took a second. You need to download an app for Apple or Android. Unfortunately, the thermometer could not be added to you regular Withings app.

I really love this wiithings smart thermometer. I have tested it against 4 other thermometer and this thing is very accurate.

Expect mothers sometime receive a lot of 'stuff', but seldom get an item as useful as a thermometer! It can erase a lot of doubt when your newborn seems to be sick. May save a trip to the doctor, too. It's not 'cute' or pretty, but IS practical.
