Great movie. Engaging story and drama . Good action.

Great classic movie, there getting hard to find and cost a lot of money but worth it.

This movie is one of Harrison fords best in my opinion. It is a great action drama.

This is a great movie and to be able to watch it on blue ray is great

I've always loved Witness - I was fortunate to see it in the theater back in Feb. 1985 when it was first released. But, for its Blu-ray debut, it appears Paramount didn't invest in a fresh scan - the image is flat, lacks fine detail, and appears softer than it should. But, the price was right - $5.99, and part of a Blu-ray promotion at a local Best Buy. Best viewed on smaller HDTV's.

When a young Amish boy witness' a gangland slaying, he and his mother are brought under the protection of a grisly New York detective who will stop at nothing to keep the boy safe. They flee to Amish country only to be pursued by the murderer's. At climax of the film the detective battles it out with the baddies to save the boy and the mother.

With Harrison Ford's numerous forays into Indiana Jones and Star Wars territory, it's easy to overlooks this terrific 1985 drama with Ford playing a Philly cop trying to protect a young Amish boy, who witnessed a murder by another cop, and his mother. The storyline is relatively straightforward, but the understated (and never consummated) love story between Ford and Kelly McGillis is surpringly tender. An often overlooked classic.

This was packaged well it was packaged with another DVD that I bought. This DVD was bought for a Christmas gift for my sister; it was a good price and I was glad that I was able to find it.

One of my favorite Harrison Ford movies. I had this on VHS and it did not make the move with me. So very glad I found it on DVD. Loved the story and the interaction between the Amish family and the policeman. I enjoy learning about the Amish and how they interact with the rest of us.

Witness is one of those rare, great films. It works as a police thriller, a cross cultural study, a romance. It has rich characters and was the major turning point for Ford in transitioning from an action adventurer into a bonafide leading man. This is a movie to own.

This movie was a sleeper hit when I first saw it 30 years ago and remains true to that today. While a simple plot and meandering from love story to mild humor to crime drama, I found this movie a perfect mix of all and engaging throughout.

This movie is great. They showed this movie to the kids in school while I was working and I been searching for it since then. I'm glad I found it at Best Buy. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a great movie.

Wonderful movie of Harrison Ford on Amish Comunties. This had some action in this movie. Excellent.

Witness in my opinion is one of Harrison Fords most under appreciated movies. Trust me when I say this is a must own film by Director Peter Weir. The strong supporting cast doesn't hurt either.

Another movie that I'm replacing on Blue Ray. An insight to how the Amish community lives.

This movie was so interesting concerning the different worlds of the Amish community and the gritty, dangerous city lives. Harrison Ford was excellent. Beautifully filmed.

If you have never seen this movie I recommend it. Great Story, great acting, I believe Harrison Ford was nominated for an Oscar for this. The only downside is a lack of special features.

Movie kept you in suspense as to who was really targeting the little boy. Enjoyed the movie but not sure everyone would appreciate seeing law enforcement on the wrong side.

I have always liked this movie since it came out in 1986 - I had a VHS copy that became unwatchable. this Blu-Ray gives the movie justice - excellent quality
