This was my first commander deck introducing me to a semi competitive aspect of MTG. Love final fantasy series and the cards included in this set. Deck is good outside of the box but i have since made adjustments to the deck itself. Despite this, i believe it is a really worthwhile commander deck and fun to play with. Comes with commander deck, many counters, and a sample collector pack.

Fantastic deck, I highly recommend it to players of Final Fantasy and Commander. I've done several deck upgrades and made it super enjoyable to beat my friends up with.

Was able to get this as a preorder. Unfortunely best buy uses a company named Shipt which is basically someone delivering it to you in their car (not necessarily a problem). The problem is that best buy throws the item in a tight fitting cardboard bag like package with no protection. On top of that they put a gigantic shipping sticker DIRECTLY ON THE PRODUCT. I get it they are trying to be as effecient as possible. But certain items are collectors items and the item packaging is important.

Got this precon on release day for $69.99 (before tax). Best Buy usually sticks to msrp when everywhere else, the price went up significantly. The box and cards were in great condition. Pretty solid precon. I've won with it against optimized equipment decks even. Rare to witness but it happened. Great value! Bracket 2 but fights like a bracket 3.

Relatively easy deck to pick up and play with. It’s an equipment heavy deck with multiple ways to summon for free or at a discounted mana cost. Be prepared to get board wiped by opponents many times playing with this deck.

The FF7 themed commander deck might not be the easiest deck to win with unedited right out of the box but it has an approachable theme that even novice players can work with. Not every voltron-equip staple is included but your shopping list for upgrades can be kept moderately light. The reprints are pretty worthwhile too. Not trying to be exhaustive but you get cards like Skullclamp, Lightning Greaves, Clever Concealment, Harmonize, and Darksteel Plate. Every reprint is done with FF7 themed art too so they match the flavor of the new cards. As precons go, it's an overall fair deck with room for you to upgrade it and make it your own but is also playable out of the box in casual games.
