World of Final Fantasy is more or less fanservice the game. You get to see many familiar faces throughout the storied franchise as well as new ones. The battle system plays out in sort of a hybrid between FF4 and FFX with the option to make it full ATB or stop upon a characters turn has comes up. The story is interesting with fun twist and it is all paired with an absolutely gorgeous art style.

World of Final Fantasy is a pretty fun game. I know the chibi art style is unattractive to some people, but it is still a pretty game. The best way to sum up the concept of World of Final Fantasy is by describing it as a cross between Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Pokemon, and Disney's Tsum-Tsum.
World of Final Fantasy takes place in a combined world of various Final Fantasy games, containing locations and characters from many games throughout the series, and awesome remixes of songs. The game features a very similar character art as Kingdom Hearts as well.
The battle system is a pretty standard turn based RPG like the classic final fantasy, but it also features the ability to capture monsters, transform between chibi and non-chibi characters, and stack with your monsters.
The story isn't anything to care much about, but the characters, music, and gameplay are what I enjoy about the game. The game can also drag on quite a bit sometimes.
If you love the Final Fantasy Series, definitely check it out. But if you don't care for the series, then you won't care for this game.

This honestly is the best way to introduce someone to the lore of Final Fantasy. It has a very simple battle system along with some monster catching mechanics. The story is silly yet well told. The presentation is top notch. While the graphics won't push the PS4 to its limits, the game certainly looks gorgeous.

World of Final Fantasy is a great way to get to know all of the FF characters from the previous games while providing players with the opportunity to experience what made FF a great game back in the day. Not to mention, if you enjoy pokemon, this game takes that concept to the next level with the stacking of "Mirages" in the game which allow for many different combinations for your characters and the ability to collect monsters as well. Great graphics and story elements too.

This game is the perfect mix of fun and nostalgia.
For those who have been a fan of the series for a long time, it's exciting to see all of your old favorites make an appearance. Those that are new to the series, this is a fun game that introduces you to some of the biggest names in Final Fantasy.
This game does not take itself too seriously. It is a mix between the turn-based Final Fantasy games of old and a Pokemon-style mirage capturing. The art style is fun and light.
The combat is as deep as you want it to be. The stacking system can be used to play with just your favorite mirages, or you can combo them together for powerful outcomes.
There is supposedly over 100 hours of content if you want to do everything. The gameplay alone through the story alone is well worth the price. I would recommend for anyone who is into fun turn based RPG and fans of Final Fantasy.

Everyone knows Final Fantasy games with the numbers are the best, but this one is good too. Very nostalgic. The characters are cute and the gameplay is fun. I've always been a fan of how many ways Square-Enix can reinvent battle and leveling up systems. Stacking is one of the more original ways to deal damage on enemies. I had fun stomping them in dungeons and in random battles in the field and then choosing my upgrade in the modified sphere grid. Great game.

A great game the story isn't to childish, the combat is great and the catching of the creatures while not a new concept its feels fresh with the requirements to catch some creature being quite unique. The only con of this game for me is the post game content while there are some new and rare monsters for you to catch the game doesn't give you anything to do with them once you catch theme

If you are a fan of Final Fantasy games, I do not understand how you could not love this game. This game was like a time machine for me, I felt like i traveled back to the mid 90s and was playing all of the old final fantasy games again. An interesting evolving story with turn based fighting, creative monsters of new and old.

I've been playing Final Fantasy games since Final Fantasy 2 for SNES. They've definitely come a long way but the quality of the games has always been high. World of Final Fantasy is different in that it's not an open world game and it has a linear story but I think that's what I like about it. I've logged in 30 hours so far and I've enjoyed every minute of it!

I really enjoy this game. It has classic Final Fantasy "Active Time Battle" (ATB) system, but you also get to collect monsters similar to Pokemon. There are different sizes of monsters that you can stack you characters on or under. This allows you to mix up abilities and counter weaknesses.
Plus, any FF veteran will get a kick out of all the references to previous FF titles. This game is just a blast!

Game is amazing! I like the old-school turn based battle system and the stacking mechanic is quite addicting. Its also quite refreshing to see your favorite characters in chibi form. The game is kinda kiddy though, but it doesnt make it any less fun. Highly recommended1

This game won't satisfy everyone, and can get a little dull and grindy at parts, but it's fun, has pretty graphics, charming music, and is a little different flavor for PS4 fans. Worth checking out, but only if you love JRPGs!

This game is amazing, and this collectors edition has it all. You can play with the Japanese voice overs and the dlc makes this game great. The graphics are amazing and it has that pokemon vibe where you can catch monsters and use them in battle. The characters are all there and you will feel nostalgic if you are familiar with the final fantasy series. You also have an option to play with the characters as chibi versions of themselves or as the regular format.

This game is like a mixture of old school turn based JRPG, Pokémon, and Kingdom hearts. You capture different creatures called Mirages and use them combined with your abilities to fight battles. It's a fun game and very easy to learn. The artwork is the same as Kingdom hearts . The creatures (Mirages) you encounter will be familiar to those who've played previous Final Fantasy games.. this gsme is one of the sleeper hits of the year for PS4... a must have!

I absolutely love this game. I'm a huge Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts fan and this game feels like both. I'm 40+ hours into the game already and only 20% done on achievements and about 50% on the story. I'm really happy I gave this game a chance. It has characters from all the old FF games and the character modeling is a lot like Kingdom hearts. You get to collect mirages and level them up/battle with them which is a lot like Pokémon.

This game is a great way to get someone into Final Fantasy who enjoys other turn-based games, such as Pokemon (my Pokemon fanatic cousin liked WoFF when he didn't like other FF games). But what makes this game a must have is that it also accommodates us veterans of the franchise- the ATB gauge returns as well as classic menu options and more.
Another thing veterans will love are all the references and jokes to previous games.
