First off let me say…”I am a Heavy Washer”!!!! We are a large family of 7 (2 adults & 5 teenagers)!!! So I am washing constantly (at least 10 loads a day). We purchased this set to replace an older model of the same LG set because of wear & tear after some years of heavy use on the washer. However, we prefer a matching set, so decided to get both! We received our new washing machine first. Our steam dryer came about 2 weeks later. Because of that I had already gotten familiar with the ThinQ app!!! I love it!!! No more guess work on when the load will be finished!!! It’s also perfectly paired together for the settings of how long to dry, after the washing cycle stops!!! Also, it’s very easy to download a more custom cycle (you can choose from lots of options in the app)!!! The dryer is pretty quite while it does it thing too!!! However, I will say if this is your first steam dryer you should know that you will need an additional hose to connect to the water hook ups. It’s called a Steam Dryer Installation Kit! You can purchase it@ the store whenever you buy your dryer. I hope this helps you while your making your decision to purchase or not to!!! Enjoy!!!!

We had a Samsung washer and dryer stackable. We had nothing but problems for 3 years. Finally decided to change everyone said LG. Well BestBuy made this experience great they had the set we wanted and was deliver in less then a week. Delivery drivers were polite professional and answered all questions. Now to the use of the washer and dryer. Very simple use but the thing I like the most is how quite these are you can not hear them running at all having the APP for them makes knowing they are ready to switch loads nice as well. Highly recommend bestbuy and LG washer and dryer

Words can not describe how much I love this dryer. I LOVE THIS DRYER! It is quiet. It is quick. It is efficient. It is smart. I originally purchased another brand. A reliable brand. It just happened that the one I ordered was defective. After reading numerous articles about what dryer is the best on the market, I decided to return the defective one and go with a different brand. That’s how I found the LG dryer. Hands down best decision EVER. Our laundry room is in a small hallway that’s right off the living room and backs against a bedroom. So I needed quiet. I appreciate the technology we have for our home appliances that make our lives so much easier. I tell strangers about how quiet and how efficient this dryer is. It dries a load of towels on under 60 minutes! To say I’m one satisfied customer is an understatement.

We purchased these as it was top of the reliability rating on consumer reports. A year of heavy use and both washer and dryer are running well. Does it need so many setting options? probably not. The smart phone connection mode has never worked, I think its just a sales gimmick.

Great washer/dryer pair. So quiet, holds big loads, and so many cycle options to choose from- love it! I love the steam option to freshen clothes, and it notifies my phone when the cycle is done. The pedestals are also a necessity for me - they are great storage and make it easier to load and unload laundry. Best Buy delivery and set up was the best ever- Highly recommend!

This dryer works good - it dries the clothes quickly. It is set for 57 minutes but that can be changed if you need more or less time.

We've had this dryer for the last 3 months, and my wife tells me on average twoce a week that she loves it! So many settings that ensures effective and efficient drying of clothes, towels, bedding, etc.

Way better then Samsung. Way more quiet. I think it's far more efficient than the Samsung's we had in the past and they do a really good job.

I’ve had this dryer for three weeks. When I dried a comforter, it started giving me a D80 error code. I looked it up and the means the dryer vent was 80% blocked. The house has a long vent and while I’d always kept the vent hose and beginning and end of the in wall vent clean, I’d never bothered to clean the whole vent. Long story short (see photo), I decided to listen to my dryer and buy a vent cleaning kit long enough to clean out the entire 22 foot long vent. Besides half a shop vac full of lint, I also cleaned out a birds nest. Thanks to this dryer, I’ve eliminated a huge fire hazard. Love the fact that this and the matching washer have sensors warning me of maintenance needs.

Very good machine, dries well, has a lot of drying options and let's me know when is done through the app. Easily dries queen sized blankets. Steam cycle is amazing!

This is arguably the best washer and dryer we’ve ever owned, this machine right here is superior to Samsung, it’s very quiet and you barely can hear any noise. Well done LG.

So far, so good; purchased as a replacement for a faulty Samsung unit. Works efficiently and quickly and using the associated LG app is helpful. Considerable capacity as well.
