Was pleasantly surprised. This comes was a default case. It's durable enough since I have managed to drop it at least 7 times from the table since March 31, 2025 and there are no cracks. The camera is usable based on the photo I took. No hidden ads like some of the Amazon budget electronics.

I took one star away because it was extreeeeemely laggy the first day. Maybe it was due to transfer files, but it almost wasn't usable. But it's all good now

Kid Needed a Replacement Phone

Last year the Snapdragon 4 gen 1 was abysmal at times. Very laggy. Apps took forever to open and the screen was dim. The camera was pretty awful too. This year we have approximately 1000 nits of brightness and the camera is solid. Battery life is much better too. The fingerprint sensor is quicker as is the face unlock feature. However, my favorite change is that Motorola thankfully switched to a Mediatek chip. The Dimensity 6300 is very capable to do just about everything that someone buying a non flagship phone would expect to do. My only critique of this phone is the horrific color of the very nice vegan leather back. Gray/Black? Ugh!! Where is the lilac, sky blue, Spritz Orange, magenta, scarlet? Heck, I would settle for boring beige! Other than that, kudos to Motorola for a job well done at this price range!
