I have been a Samsung TV buyer for years, and have been on the fence with getting a Hisense or TCL branded tv. Price sometimes you get what you pay for and I had high expectations and needs for our main tv. We have a very bright room with lots of windows, so Samsungs antiglare coating was one of the only tis that worked for us. But this new Hisense is doing a great job. It might not be as antireflection as the Samsung, but it makes up for it with its brightness. This thing is easily seen in the middle of the day with out being blown out. Great contrast makes it still feel rich and vibrant. Im so happy I went with this tv. Nits up to 5k and color reproduction that I like out of the box. Samsung I used to have to do a lot of adjustments to get it just right, but this Hisense looks great for the most part with minor tweaks. My biggest concern was off angle viewing. Many of the TCL and Hisense tvs in the past have had horrible off axis viewing. Color and brightness taking a huge hit. But this new Hisense has fixed all those concerns. Now you can get more for your money by buying a Hisense tv over the more expensive brands. They are competing in every way with no compromises for the most part. You won't be disappointed with this tv purchase, and 100" for this price is unbeatable.

The 2025 Hisense 100U8QG miniLED is simply huge. Not just in size, but more importantly - in value. Because it is so heavy, we currently have it on the floor of our Living Room awaiting the three-man install team that will hang it on our wall. For reference, the Saint Bernard in my first photo next to the box is 140lbs. In the second photo showing a live football game, you can see the stylish brushed-metal remote control and a standard compact disc on the ground directly in front of the TV. I hope this helps convey the TV's scale! 5,600 local dimming zones (no, that is not a typo!) allow the U8 to produce superb black levels with incredible contrast. Peak brightness is in excess of 5,000 nits, allowing it to easily overcome in-room reflections and even direct sunlight. While the screen area is simply huge, the depth of the TV once it is put on the wall will be just a hair over 3 inches, and the bezel surrounding the screen is super thin. Initial setup / registration was completed from my phone, and multiple native apps were download quickly. Streaming quality was excellent, with 4k60FPS content dropping less than .01% of all frames over wifi (see night-scene photo showing stats for nerds). The TV's many built-in speakers produce loud, full sound, with a surprising amount of bass. It won't shake your walls, but there's more audio power here than any other TV I've listened to before. The metallic silver controller feels substantial, just like the TV itself. Buttons are all clearly labeled, and intuitively laid out. I was able to play a few matches of my favorite first-person shooter at the TV's peak 165FPS, and it was as smooth as can be. It's hard to describe what gaming on a 100-inch screen is like, but suffice it to say, ' breathtaking.' If you have a current-generation console, or a somewhat-powerful PC, the U8 can make your old game catalog seem new again. Whether it's a laptop, desktop, gaming console, VCR, DVD or Blu-Ray player, with the U8's 3 HDMI 2.1 ports, and a powered USB-C Port, I can't think of a single device you wouldn't be able to connect and enjoy. For a movie-theater experience in your very own home, at less than half the price of other comparable brands, I wholeheartedly endorse the 2025 Hisense 100U8QG. Every time you turn it on, your jaw will drop. It's the gift that will keep on giving. Nice work, Hisense! You've done it again. P.S. We received our Hisense u8 series in a whopping 100" option because everyone loves to come home to relax and unwind and you deserve the best don't you? So we did! Our three boys love to game and Hisense had that option ticked with game mode to keep them happy at 120hz with input lag gone no excuses were left other than skill of the player! Easy peasy setup my phone detected a new Google device and all we had to do is click yes agree and setup was done our connected sound bar was from another brand but Hisense easily paired it during this setup also. So let's get back to this beautiful 100" screen I'am coming from 77" oled so believe me we were skeptical about many qualities of other screen material choice as oled really spoils a person's image quality preference. This beautiful screen is hard to decipher what magic sauce Hisense has used to make the screen oled quality with better than oled brightness. The images pop and our minds are fully blown. Now it's movie night with the best quality in 100" I don't think Hisense can be beat.

I just upgraded to the Hisense 100U8QG, and wow… this thing is insane. I knew 100 inches would be big, But this feels like home theatre in home The picture quality is honestly way better than I expected. The brightness hits hard, the contrast is super clean, and HDR finally looks like proper HDR. It’s the kind of screen where you end up rewatching old movies just because they look completely new. But the crazy part is all the extra stuff it comes with. The Google TV interface is smooth and really easy to use. Apps open fast, no lag, and it actually recommends stuff I’d watch. Even the sound is better than I expected. The 4.1.2 setup gives it more punch and depth, so it doesn’t feel thin like a regular TV. And the anti-glare coating definitely helps a lot during the day — I have a bright room and it handles reflections way better than I thought it would. Overall, this upgrade feels huge. Bigger screen, better picture, tons of useful features… everything about the setup just feels more modern and straight-up fun. If you’re thinking about getting it, honestly, you won’t regret it.

This TV is absolutely incredible. I looked at the Sony Bravia 98 inch. I have a tough time actually going against the brand of Sony and the sales people told me the processor is so much better and high sense wouldn’t live up to Sony. I’m telling you this TV is awesome. I’m a Samsung user have been for most of my life Samsung and Sony but I’ll put this TV up against Any 98 inch or higher TV get it with the Sonos arc and subwoofer and you’ll never have to go to a movie theater again.

I’ve been using the Hisense U8 Series TV for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed by how immersive it feels. The picture is bright, colorful, and sharp—everything from movies to TV shows looks natural and vibrant. Dark scenes are deep without losing detail, and HDR content really stands out with highlights and colors that pop. I also tried gaming on it, and it feels incredibly smooth with almost no lag. It automatically switches to game mode when I connect my console, which is convenient. Google TV is easy to navigate, apps open quickly, and I like that I can use Google Assistant directly from the remote. The built-in speakers are decent for everyday viewing, but a soundbar would make the experience even more cinematic. I also appreciate that it’s bright enough to watch during the day without losing clarity, and the large screen size truly transforms the room-making it feel like a home theater. Overall, this TV is massive, sharp, and responsive, and it’s been fantastic for both watching and gaming.

Pound for pound champ when you want a 100" television with great picture quality but you don't want to spend $15k+ on it. Very competitive against it's competition from much larger and more popular brands like the 98" Samsung QN90D. Extremely happy with it so far, looks great in my family room. Also happy I spent $5k instead of $15k and still received a great TV. Great job Hisense!!

Alot of people hear Hisense and think of the cheaper stuff they mass produce. Keep in mind every company has an entry level tv and hi end and boy it doesn’t get any better than this! The brightness will blow you away if the size doesn’t. Audio is immpressive with the subwoofer. Love how they have google tv embedded so you can download you fav apps and stream. Gaming is out of this world. The colors, the clarity, the size and sound left me in awe. Love how this hooked up to my WiFi router with ease and speeds were impressive. The anti reflective screen made viewing much better. No more reflection from the windows or lights! After getting paired to my home theater system I don’t think I will ever need to go to the theater. My kids love gaming on it and I love watching movies now. I use to hate how the reflection from my windows messed with the tv and Hisense solved it. This is if not best, one of the best tv out there. Don’t let the brand fool you because Hisense just put the big boys to shame. The blacks are so good for a second I thought I was looking at an oled. I highly recommend this tv to any one who enjoys watching tv because this will just change your life imo.

Moving from a 65 inch to a 100 inch TV was the biggest jump I could make without having the TV overlap living room windows. This TV dominates the room as it should. It looks great in full sunshine of day and spectacular during night time viewing. It works great with the latest game consoles (XBOX X, PS5) and PC; and the built in operating system allows me to have fun with home automation apps. The HDMI 2.1 plays nice with my Home theatre Atmos system for complete 360 degree sound to complement the 4K UHD HDR highest quality formatted movies. Because it uses android based Google TV, I can set it to show Picture In Picture video of my front porch when someone rings the doorbell, as well as other notifications, like pausing the TV if the phone rings. Having such a large TV allows full view of multiple security cameras at once from the living room couch. My Home Theatre is now complete. I recommend this TV to anyone with the space for it.

This u8qg is replacing my old 55 inch that I’ve had for a number of years. This new tv is much brighter and has better sound. Build quality seems pretty solid and voices come out clearer than on my old tv. I might not need to always have captions on all the time now :) Gaming on the tv is nice and sharp. Link never looked any cooler! To test out how well the tv performed with dark content. I played the famous season 8 episode 4 of GoT. Known for being so dark it’s almost unwatchable. The tv definitely performed great. While the episode was dark (as it should be) the contrast ratio from the tv let me see details that I previously couldn’t. It was definitely a better experience than I have previously experienced. My sons spun up some fortnight matches and the gameplay looked great. Fortnight has lots of fast action and scene changes and everything performed flawlessly. I’m excited to watch the MLS semi finals on this big tv this weekend!

I'll be honest, when the delivery guys dropped off this 100-inch Hisense U8, I seriously wondered if I'd lost my mind. It's absolutely massive. But that doubt vanished the first time I put on Dune and saw the Arrakis deserts fill my entire wall. This MiniLED QLED panel is truly mind blowing. The brightness is so intense, my windows might as well not be there. The shadows are deep, the colors are popping. It's the closest I've ever come to a real cinema experience at home. The anti reflection does a great job at doing what it's meant to do! For gaming, it's such as good. The 165Hz smooth motion on a screen this size makes my favorite RPGs feel truly immersive. The Google TV integration is seamless and works like a charm.I'm navigating less and watching more. If you have the space, stop thinking and just buy it. It's an investment in pure, oversized happiness

I’m a Tv snob and have followed every technology closely, from Plasma to LCD then LED and finally settled on OLED because I believed the picture quality, contrasts and color saturation were unbeatable. Hisense was recommended to me as a top contender at an unbeatable price, and boy did this Tv deliver. The colors are punchy, the processing is flawless and the blooming is minimal. There are scenes I can’t tell this apart from an OLED. I like Hisense so much I’m looking at getting another 100inch. I HIGHLY recommend this TV to everyone!

This TV is amazing! The 100" is so large I needed to adjust to it. Very high quality pucture. I use it for streaming only and connected to a Sony soundbar and subwoofer sound system. I got it on sale half off and free install and i cannot imagine a better TV at that price point.

This TV is incredible. The screen size makes you really feel like you are part of the movie or show. We even had to move our couch back a little. The MiniLED pro really illuminates the shadows and lighting of the screen. Since we watch a variety of shows and music videos, we really like how the Hi-View Ai Engine pro sets the picture and sound accordingly. The 4.1.2 channel with Dolby Atmos gives us great sound at every moment and immerses even more into what we are watching. Every color pops off the screen and IMAX provides crystal clear pictures.

Picture is excellent. Incredible detail on Blu-rays. Broadcast shows can vary, not the fault of the TV but the broadcasters. Best value for Mini LED QLED 4K HDR Worth the money. Sound ok but I use a AVR, way better sound.

Never 2 big!! So this was my gift with the new condo.. So people said it was 2 big for the space but, it works out perfect

Tv looked great for about a month. After about a month just after the 30 day return policy there is a stuck pixel. Ive been trying the stuck pixel apps and everything i could do to fix it but it won't go away. Its a large tv so I was hoping i wouldn't have to take it back but it's brand new and was not cheap. If they can fix this for me I'll change this review

I purchased this 100" Hisense after owning an AWOL Vision 100" UST projector. My husband and I both think the picture is better. Two things we both disliked about the projector is the dead pixels after 1 year of use, and the audio didn't sync to the video. We were using an Amazon Firestick 4K and using 2 remotes. We have eliminated the dead pixels, the use of 2 remotes, and the audio sync issues. We have the tv sitting on top of a 97" tv stand. The tv was somewhat easy to mount the stands to. We needed 2 people for this. We brought in a third person to lift the tv onto the tv stand. We are highly satisfied with our purchase. We had the tv delivered and were happy with every aspect of the delivery.
