X-MEN origins blu ray steelbook an entertaining movie

Superb adaption of a marvel character, (albeit not exactly like the comic but still great) Very interesting seeing the beginning of wolverine and how he came about being. Hugh Jackson is a charismatic actor who played the part really well. All the marvel universe action and excitement put movie action. This is one of the most popular marvel universe movie characters and we can see why. A must see for any marvel fan (again, I'm not an aficionado on marvel comics, and so I'm not a stuck-up arm chair critics of Stan Lee's marvel world films.) Rather I just like the films- be it seeing old time fav comic characters on live action film/ nostalgic feelings from growing up reading/collected them as a kid? So I'm not over critical of them) I enjoyed it for what it is- a great movie based on marvel world comics.

Movie was great got my digital code to but when it was delivered my movie box was a lil damaged! I just hope my avengers endgame steelcase box doesn’t get any bends when it’s delivered

What is wrong with everybody? This movie is the bomb. For real. Way bettr than The Wolverine. It's a fine origin story. Some of the special fx are a bit shoddy but I dont understand the hate. It's not a transcendent experience but does the job. And as a simple prequel to X-Men it was the last thing to make sense before First Class came and completely and utterly confused the timeline in all sorts of gloriously chaotic ways! Oh and my man crush on Hugh Jackman reaches its peak with this film. He doesnt ever look better in the role than here.

I had the bootleg version of this movie and the Final cut is no better! I was really hyped back then for this movie, its wolverine. Big flop though

X-Men Origins: Wolverine attempts to correct my biggest complaint about the X-Men trilogy of films: the lack of an origin story. Hugh Jackman's performance is, arguably, the best thing about the X-Men film series. It's great to see Jackman given the opportunity to really shine on his own. After hearing mixed things about this particular film, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I actually liked it better than the X-Men trilogy. To get technical, this Blu-ray looks and sounds great. The Picture quality is a solid 4.5/5 and the Audio is a perfect 5/5.

this film fills in Wolverine's backstory more completely and satisfyingly than any series of flashbacks inserted in another film ever could. That the Wolverine has a deep and compelling history only revealed incrementally over time in the comic books only increases the satisfaction of watching this film that features character development and personal relationships beyond the set action requirements of a superhero film.

Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber tore up the screen in this movie. It was exciting to see the relationship between the brothers evolve and the evolution of Wolverine. It was action packed with historical war scenes, x-men battles and brother on brother fighting. The movie explained just enough of how Wolverine became the man he is and left enough room for additional movies to fill in more gaps. It teased me and left me wanting more.

Definitely a missed opportunity. Movie could've been a whole lot better. The story was all over the place, massive plot holes, and a terrible debut for Deadpool. Wade Wilson got some good screen time, but when he's was finally referred to as Deadpool, it was extremely disappointing. Still has its good moments though. The intro credits are awesome, fight with Weapon-XI/Deadpool was cool, Logan getting his adamantium procedure was cool, and a few more. Mostly got this to complete my X-Men movie collection.

I had never seen the original Wolverine, and watched the newest one first. After being a little confused on watching the newest one, I decided to purchase the original to get caught up on the story (and now it makes a lot more sense, as it should). Hugh Jackman is a great actor and I really enjoyed watching the Wolverine excerpt from the XMen series. The price of this movie was much cheaper at Best Buy than it was at Walmart.

While the movie is my favorite of rhe xmen movies (It's lacking and in accurate in the story telling) I bought this for the steelbook packaging and to complete my xmen/wolverine collection. Im a collector and get very excited over this type of special edition. If you're a collector or just love the movie, you won't be disappointed if you decide to buy this version

What can I say I grew up an Xmen cartoon kid and Wolverine was my favorite flawed X man character. Other than that it was Storm.. I took a liking to a few of the "bad guys" as well. The movie with Wolverine's back story was good. I hope they do this for other characters as well. Having the backstories developed would be original content with the Xmen movies

While it has many issues, I still have fond memories of this film.

Overall this movie imo did a good job of explaining the origins of a beloved character. While they dropped the ball a little with the deadpool character, they still did well. It was nice to finally see how his character became the way he was, and they threw in a few others characters along the way.

I actually like the movie. I know the complaints about Deadpool, but at least the gave us a perfect movie of him a few years later. I do like that they tried to follow the comic for the first few minutes but then they had to veer way off course. Leiv Schweiber was the perfect Sabertooth.

After a repeat watching recently, I decided this movie wasn't as bad as I originally thought it was. I'm still not thrilled with what they did with Deadpool. (A Deadpool that doesn't talk? WHAT?!?) But still entertaining and fun. Probably more a 3.5 instead of a 4-star, but better to bump the rating up rather than down.

The film unfolds in a linear tale about Logan's life and presents Sabertooth and Wolverine as brothers. For those deadpool fans, this was Reynolds first appearance as Wade Wilson, though he gets dissected into weapon x at the end of the movie. A must have for Wolverine fans and x-men fans.

I like this movie. I find the ending odd when the mutants escape. the actress play as Logan girlfriends was in True Blood the first season. I think that Gambit should be in a movie with rouge like the old school x-men.

While some would not consider this the best x-men movie, i think that its looked down upon too much. Yes we get to see the character of Logan before he lost his memories and hook up with the x-men, but we also get see kind of what it was like in 80's. Wade Wilson is introduced which will lead to a spinoff for him

X-men origins is the first Wolverine solo movie out of three and it is not as good as the other two. Plagued with a lot of continuity errors, it is confusing when paired with the other X-men movies. They tried to do too much with the story and by trying to input as many side characters as possible, it jumbles up the plot. One of the major flaws of the movie was the disservice to Deadpool(although they didn't know how much box office potential the character would have at the time). But I must say, for all of it's faults, as a stand alone superhero movie, it is entertaining with lots of action and is rewatchable.
