I've been a fan of Wolverine since the first x-men movie and was excited when he got a solo movie. Even though this movie got a lot of flack, i feel it still fits well within the x-men universe and I enjoyed seeing new characters and learning more about Logan's backstory. If you're a fan of wolverine and the x-men series give this film a try.

When I watched the first movie in the X-Men series, I did so very reluctantly. It was my husband's turn to pick the movie and that's what he decided on. I was extremely surprised because not only did I like the movie, but I really wanted to keep going in the series. This movie doesn't disappoint!

You may not be a Wolverine fan (he's a darker character), and the X-Men movies can certainly stand by themselves without this movie explaining Wolverine's origin. But this movie can enhance your appreciation of the character, and strengthens the over-all story of the X-men movies.

Love the X Men but it really comes down to Wolverine - he is the best! The best Xmen, the best action, the best story. This movie reveals a lot of the mystery behind the Wolverine and you will want more! Buy this ESSENTIAL for your movie collection. Your spouse will thank you. Your kids and guests will thank you!

This is the 4th installment of the Marvel X-Men film series and as the title explains, give you the origin of Hugh Jackman's character, the Wolverine, telling us what we wanted to know about our favorite mutant. A good job of acting by his brother Sabretooth (Liev Schrieber) adds to the fleshing out of the Wolverine's character development.

The movie started off with so much potential and then just fell apart.

I had wanted to see this, but everyone told me it was not a good movie. I watched it and actually liked it a lot. Ryan Reynold's dead pool in this movie didn't really work, but thankfully the Deadpool movie made up for it.

This X-Men film always seems to get the short end of the stick (mostly for the terrible version of Deadpool); however, there is a lot to like about this film. It is pretty exciting, has some pretty cool action scenes, it is the catalyst that allowed for Ryan Reynolds to eventually make a Deadpool movie, and of course it finally introduces Gambit (the best X-Men ever). It may not be the best film ever, but it does have some good things. This is one of the movies you can't think too hard about. Just sit back, eat some popcorn, and try to have fun. I'd normally go with 2.5 stars but since they done have half ratings, I'll give it the push to 3 because of Gambit.

Sort of a prequel to the X-Men movies, but definitely the origin of story of Wolverine. A stand-alone movie, you don't need to have seen the X-Men movies to understand it, but it helps. Good movie, excellent acting and great special effects/cinematography.

Although not a hit with many critics I personally enjoyed this film! Besides the RIDICULOUS version of Deadpool (which he himself criticized) the movie was good... But I do wish that the packaging was advertised as a "METALPAK" as opposed to a "STEELBOOK" because YES there is a difference....

I like the movie really nothing I would change about it I mean you can't give everything away bit still keep you wanting more and stay on task with what your going for and hopefully staying more and more in bounds of the cartoon growing up been doing a good job so far can't wait to see what's next in the x men. It was an action packed movie from beginning to end. Although some parts were predictable there were surprises e.g. Viper shedding her skin. The movie kept me glued to the TV. Good cinematography. The location, Japan was different and was good for yet another Wolverine movie. My teenage grandson thought it was great.

I was watching this movie. For me, this movie is conflicted about history with Deadpool. Sabertooth and Wolverine fight same war. Wolverine becomes real Wolverine.

Slowly but surely I've been getting all the X-Men movies for my collection. Kinda wished it also had a DVD or maybe even 4K but regardless good purchase.

I love all things X-men, however I do hate the Deadpool portrayal in this movie. Totally throws a wrench in the universe. Still a good watch though.

Hugh Jackman give a great reprisal of his role as wolverine to tell the origin of a character that we first meet in the Xmen movies. This fills in the character's backstory which he has no memory of in the future of the Xmen.

The "Origins" moniker is fitting. The movie gives you a glimpse of not just the Wolverine's backstory but many other Xmen characters as well. Not as visually stimulating as other installments but entertaining none the less.

Missed purchasing this when it was first released. Price can't be beat and I was able to add this to my Blu Ray (Marvel) collection. I only wish that I would have been able to redeem a digital copy to my cloud account instead having a digital disk copy. Still a great movie though.

I enjoy X-Men and especially Wolverine. I had high expectations for this film. While I enjoyed it, I wish the writing had been better and the ending of the movie left something to be desired. Overall, a good action film.

This film does an excellent job outlining the back round that has molded the standoff manner that is Wolverines persona. Yet it is a stand alone film as well. If a new comer to the Epic Films watched this there would be no problem following the story line. Well done as always Mr. Lee
