Xenoblade 3 is an astonishing achievement. Monolith Soft just knows how to make giant open world/open world adjacent games better than most. (And on limited hardware power nonetheless.) The music is a revelation with earworms that have you bopping to the music for the whole duration of your playtime, characters to enjoy, a fun battle system, story that will break your heart. Endless content. For RPG fans, this is a good one. Don’t miss it.

If you are a fan of Xenoblade or looking for a game on switch that will keep you engrossed, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a beautifully polished game with a heart pulling and chair gripping story. 16 hours in and I have been progressing the main story, grinding characters levels and abilities, and assisting the colonies to learn more about the phenomenon that this world is going through, I’m excited to see how this trilogy comes together.

Great game! I was hesitant to try the third entry into this series since I did not like the previous two as they were boring and hard to get into for me. I had high hopes for #2 but I ended up trading it in. This game is by far superior in every way (story, gameplay, graphics, etc.). I'm only 10 hours in, but from the looks of it, this game will keep me busy for another 100+ easy.

Its not going to win game of the year for Switch because things like Splatoon 3 also exist and will outsell it ten to one, but this *should* be the GOTY. Its got a fantastic, tear-jerking story and looks incredible, with graphics that might well rival the top games for Playstation and Xbox: the numerous vistas through the varied terrain of the world of Aionios are amazing to just spend a minute to look at. Lots of fun, with all six main characters getting equal billing instead of one or two entirely dominating it like the earlier Xenoblade Chronicles games. Wonderfully integrates features of the earlier games, both in game play mechanics and recognizable landscape features (as seen on the cover art) and provides in-game explanations for them. Downsides are that it is, like the earlier games, way too heavy on loot and collectible item farming, and on the long side. To clear every sidequest should take a player beyond the 200 hour mark.

Another quality Xenoblade chronicles game. Monolithsoft has improved the facial expressions for the characters and they optimized the game very well considering it's on the switch. The story is extremely good and I suggest playing Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2 also if you love JRPGs. Combat and story is great and definitely worth a buy!

Monolith Soft has been one of my favorite studios since Xenosaga, so I'm always eager to see what sort of bombastic creativity they deliver. And, I gotta say, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 does not disappoint. An absolutely rich story and in-depth combat. I would definitely recommend this to any fan of RPGs.

Among the BEST JRPGs I have every played! I HIGHLY recommend this game. Honestly, I wish you would play the previous two xenoblade games. However, you can certainly jump into this one without playing the previous two. PLEASE BUY THIS!

Pretty dang fun. Not sure if I prefer it iver #2 yet though. I think the party member size should be a little smaller imo but its fun. When I started playing 2 I preferred 1 but then that changed and so maybe will this.

This game definitely lives up to the hype! I'm enjoying the new story and characters. The system menus, tutorials, and music are on point. Classes, Arts, Skills, Gems, everything else are really making this game great! All the detailed information in the tutorials makes it seem overwhelming at first, but it's really easy to go back into tips and re-read what a certain gameplay mechanic is or does. I found that Chain attack is much more exciting when compared to xc2. Interlink is amazing and is such a great addition! Some system limitations would be that the graphics become a little grainy on TV when playing docked (like xc2), but it's not a deal breaker. Still wishing Monolith will remaster XCX some day XD

Amazing to think a decade ago the original Xenoblade wasn't even going to be localized in North America. Here we are and now the third game was one of Nintendo's biggest titles in 2022. If you've played any of the other Xenoblade games you'll have a general idea of what this plays like. Yes it has its own quirks, but all of them are quite fun. There is a case to be made that it has the best story and characters in the franchise. A really great time. The recently released DLC Future Redeemed is also an excellent end cap on this trilogy.

One of the great JRPGs of all time. Literally too much to do. If amazing stories, massive worlds with too much to do, great art, and a lovable cast is your thing, this game was made for you. Seriously, you will cry. You will learn. You will feel like you've gained friends...and a fulltime job. Combat is some of the best stuff from the genre. Refined. Music is some of the best ever in the medium. Graphics, amazing for switch. Art style, super pretty and endearing. At times beautiful, haunting, evocative.

This game is pretty rad. I struggled to get through the intro sections of the first two games, because they are kind of a narrative slog. XC3 puts you right into combat and teaches things as you go. I found the story more engaging and several hours in, you end up with a six character party that you can fully customize and let them, somewhat, battle automagically. Many encounters demand proper positioning and timing when you let off your skills. Anyway, I'm about ten hours in now and excited to hop back in and see more!
