If you are new to the Xenoblade franchise, feel free to start with XCX! This is an improved version a the game originally on the Wii U, and a spinoff of the Xenoblade story not directly relating to the other games. The game includes a massive and beautiful open world planet, mechs later in the game to pilot, and unique RPG gameplay. One of the best looking games on the current Nintendo Switch and a must play for RPG lovers and fans of the Xenoblade Chronicles games.

I recently purchased Xenoblade Chronicles X from Best Buy and had an excellent experience overall. The shipping was impressively fast, getting my game delivered well ahead of the expected timeframe, which was a pleasant surprise. The game itself is absolutely fantastic - having missed it during its original Wii U release, I’m thrilled to finally experience this incredible JRPG on the Switch. The remastered version feels polished and refined, offering hundreds of hours of engaging gameplay that makes it a must-play for any RPG enthusiast. Best Buy’s ordering process was smooth and straightforward, and I appreciated how they kept me informed throughout the delivery process. For Nintendo fans like myself who love expansive, story-driven games, this purchase was definitely worth it, and Best Buy made the whole experience hassle-free with their efficient service.

Xenoblade Chronicle X Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch is indeed a fantastic entry in the Xenoblade series. It's not just a simple port; it boasts a noticeably enhanced visual presentation compared to the original Wii U release. The improved resolution, sharper textures, more detailed environments, and refined character models truly make the world of Mira even more breathtaking to explore. Reliving those moments with the explendid new visual look is definitely a treat for returning fans. The game manages to retain its unique open-world exploration and engaging combat while looking significantly better on the Switch. It's a great opportunity to dive back into or experience for the first time one of the most ambitious and visually impressive games from the Wii U era, now truly shining on a modern console.

Very fun MMO-esc action RPG with great exploration, combat, and world building.

One of the most impressive games on Nintendo Switch. A huge action rpg with interesting combat, fun stories, and awesome mech gameplay later in the game. The amount of content can even feel overwhelming but it is all very satisfying. You can go deep into the side content or focus more on the story, either way it is a good time. Lots of endgame content as well and the visuals (especially when traversing in the air) can be breath taking.

Fantastic game great graphics and gameplay you level up in a huge open world

I used $55 in Best Buy reward certificates to pick up Xenoblade Chronicles X, and it couldn’t have been a better use of them. The game still holds up as one of the most ambitious titles on the Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, with a massive open world, deep combat system, and incredible soundtrack. It feels great to finally own a physical copy without spending extra out of pocket. An absolute steal for a modern classic!

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a great port of a superb Wii U game. It has an excellent open world to explore, engaging combat, and looks great. Well worth checking out- whether you own the original or want to revisit Mira. Unfortunately, Best Buy absolutely botched this one up. Like so many others, I did not receive the promotional poster than was supposed to come with my preorder. Best Buy support staff confirmed my order was supposed to come with the poster, and promised me a resolution to the matter in writing, a resolution they never provided. Very disappointed with the customer service - and lack thereof. I did all Best Buy asked. I gave them order information (multiple times), visited my local Best Buy in person, and contacted Nintendo. Needless to say, after they failed to honor this preorder, I did not preorder a Switch 2 from them.

One of the best games I've played on Switch. Great JRPG style game with Mech warrior style action. I am 80 hours in and I am still half way through the game. It is definitely worth the price and also I got lucky and received the preorder bonus from Best Buy. But I also preordered it the day it was announced so that's probably why I got the preorder metal poster.

I like the game so much now that it's on Nintendo switch when it was only on Wii u forever. the story is a lot of fun in the gameplay is nice I like the game so much I bought it digitally and physically. The physical one I did not open to keep it in case if it gets more than the actual price. The Best buy exclusive is nice too it is a nice add-on to already great game.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is the complete game the Wii U original couldn't have. Quality of life improvements and now in 1080p with full surround sound, the game looks and sounds better than ever. Content previously not seen in the original is also included for the most complete X experience you could ask for.

While this game originally released on the Wii U some 9 years ago, I was looking forward to this release all the same. The ability to travel back to Mira with major quality of life improvements and new content is a boon to anyone, whether they’ve played before or not.

Excellent game to play on the go or when you have free time.

Noctilum is still the most beautiful land in gaming history! Played 100's of hours on Wii u but the improved UI makes this game feel fresh and new . The story, combat and vast open world make this game a masterpiece!

I am loving this game and still taking my time with the game because I missed out on it because I never owned a Wii U. I love the battle system, the graphics and like playing it.

It is a great addition to the franchise. I enjoyed playing it; although i prefer 2.

The game is a huge upgrade from the wii u version with new content and nicer visuals. If you like Xenoblade at all you’ll most likely enjoy this title.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is my absolute favorite Xenoblade game and I have been thoroughly enjoying it! My only issue is that I never got my pre-order bonus as promised and I had to go through a whole bunch of rigmarole just to find out why. Eventually, I did end up finding out that it was because of a shortage of stock for the metal poster. I feel Best Buy could have better handled this by notifying recipients of the pre-order bonus that there was a shortage. Instead, I was left in the dark and had to search out the information myself. TL:DR Superb game, but I never got my pre-order bonus. Best Buy needs to handle situations like this better.

I haven’t been able to put this game down for the past two weeks, it’s beautiful and the replay value is out of this world.

Xenoblade Chronicles X takes an already vast, incredible game and adds more and more content than you could ever hope for.
