For the price its a great performer, been playing Doom 4 on high and it never drops below 60 fps. No glitches, lock ups, black screens or etc, It just works like it should. I have read about the PCIE over wattage thing, and other cards do this also esp when overclocking from what I have read, so I am not worried about.. I mean think about it, not only did the card pass testing from AMD, The PCI group but also the others selling the reference card would have tested it, such as MSI, XFX and etc so if all those companies / engineers said it was okay to do this then it must be okay. If you have an older graphic card and want to up your game on the 1080 or 1440 field this would be the most for the least at this point in time.

This was my first time building a computer, and I'm pretty impressed with the performance of this gpu. However, it was rather difficult to insert and fit every cord around it. I actually ended up breaking the motherboard as a result of difficulties removing it, because it was difficult to insert correctly. Overall, now that it's installed, happy with my purchase.

Card's performance is beyond my expectations. AMD just released driver update which took care of any power issues very few people ran into at launch. I had zero problems when I installed mine on my Asus motherboard. The latest AMD drivers also increased performance in most games, and when I overclock with Wattman app, I get the performance level of a Nvidia GTX 980, which is a $400+ video card !!! AMD is back, yes!

great card at great price, amd is turning things around.

I got this same card elsewhere and I like it. Beware though to get the best performance you need to set the power limit to +50% otherwise the card won't clock itself to maximum. My Firestrike score jumped over 2500 by doing this. Great card, will be getting another for Crossfire.

Plays games fine but it runs hot and loud, very noticeable since my PC is on my desk.

Best GPU at 1080p according to tomshardware, and less than $250, what more could you ask for?

Normally I would not care for power draw however the pci-e requirements were surpassed and it had to be known. Sure its not something to worry about until it happens to you however they should have made this known instead trying to hide it. Afterall it was enough for the project lead to say there will be drivers that will fix this issue and apologize about it... I would not recommend this to anyone. I purchased mine and it runs 70-90c... way to hot for stock settings... 970 killer? No Motherboard killer 10/10

Bought it for my son to game with. Installed and started playing but every time after 10 minutes the screen would go blank and the system would freeze. Went on AMD RADEON site and posted on the forum with no one answering me but noticed many other people had the same problem. Sent an email to there support, they only answer in the middle of the night one email. So if what they ask you to do does not work then you have to wait for 24 hours for next thing to try. Imagine the frustration when the fixes they give you are not even geared towards your problem. Like I said useless
