Works amazingly, I prefer amd graphics cards for their price to performance compared to Nvidia. Frame gen, anti tearing and lower input latency are the only features I use from the software and they all work perfectly. I haven’t even overclocked the card yet and that’s where the true value for your money comes from. The 7900 GRE constantly has new potential if you’re willing to put in the time just watch a few YouTube videos on it.

100% compatible with pretty much all Linux distributions. Great performance. I would call this a 7800xtx or a baseline 7900. It was created for the Chinese market but it's such a solid card for the price and it outclassed my 4070 at the same price. I paid $549 for this card. Ran cyberpunk 2077 in 4k at well over 120fps everything on ultra except path tracing which sucks on everything right now.

The best gpu for price and performance imo. 16vram that can handle any game I throw at it and staying in amazing 1440p-4k quality. Sadden to hear such a great card being discontinued

I agree with all the comments on the aesthetics of this card, it's def not winning any beauty contests. Comfortably plays 1440 games with ULTRA settings and even some Ray Tracing. 4K gaming is possible with older games, but new games will require lowering the FPS with high/max settings. All this while running under 60c and 200 watts I've been enjoying Upscaling with this card and don't mind playing in lower resolutions on an 55" OLED display. If this was an even 500 before tax it would have been perfect! I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this purchase tho. Recommend.

Great preformance I'm very happy with it. The only problem i don't like but this is with all new graphics card. Is that the gpu is sagging. So I need a put a support to prevent that.

I have been building computers since I was 12, working professionally in IT for the last 15 years. This graphics card is a literal game changer. I turned off every AMD enchancement, no overclock for stability, and haven’t looked back. I have yet to lauch a title that I cannot get 100+ fps at 1440p. I have never had a card that does whatever i want without limits. I am coming from a RTX 3070ti.

This is the best graphics card for you buck 100%! Very good frame rates and very good ratings! I’ve had this GPU for a few weeks now and I haven’t had any issues besides with Fortnite but that isn’t the GPUs fault it is just AMD but for $550 this is a steal and would build my next PC with this current GPU!

Wow! This card beat any and all expectations I had. Been running this almost a month now, and it shreds through any 1440p gaming, and can certainly do some games in 4k. Used it in my new PC build.

    Massive Upgrade

I recently upgraded from my trusty Red Devil 5700XT to the XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE, and the difference has been nothing short of amazing! Right out of the box, the build quality of the XFX 7900 GRE impressed me. The design feels premium, and the cooling system is whisper-quiet, even under load. Compared to the 5700XT, the performance leap is incredible—games that struggled to hit smooth frame rates at ultra settings are now running buttery smooth, even in 4K. The additional VRAM (16GB vs. 8GB) and RDNA 3 architecture make a huge difference in modern titles, especially in demanding open-world games and ray tracing applications. The card handles everything I throw at it, from Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing to high-refresh-rate competitive games like Apex Legends. Another big win for me has been the temperature and power efficiency. The XFX 7900 GRE runs noticeably cooler than my 5700XT, and the fans barely ramp up during long gaming sessions. It’s a quiet, cool, and powerhouse upgrade. If you’re on the fence about upgrading from an older card like the 5700XT, don’t hesitate. The 7900 GRE is worth every penny. XFX knocked it out of the park with this one!

Excellent performance, price, and temperatures. Its a little large, be sure to check your case specs to ensure you have the clearance. I put mine into an H6 Flow and it fits beautifully. I paired it with a Ryzen 7 5700X3D for 1440p high fps. I opted to use a third party gpu support bracket as this one did sag a little.

Seriously the best "Bang for the buck" gpu out there at the moment. Performance on par with the 4070 at a EXTREMELY competitive price. Literally my only complaint is the lack of lighting on the card, it is quite bland looking.

had it for a few days now and it runs everything fantastic, great overclocking abilities, 2 free games, and if you aren't interested in NVIDIA encoding or ray tracing this is the best bang for the buck over a 4070 super

Best bang for your buck gpu this gen

Where to start. I play on a 3440x1440 ultrawide Oled monitor and this card handles it easily. This is the best bang for your buck video card this gen. In games like Cod you get 4070ti super/4080 performance. It beats the rtx 4070super in just about everything and it costs less. Got mine on sale at $529 The card is large, it's a long boi so make sure your case will fit it. Xfx is one of the top 3 Amd card manufacturers and they are great about warranty stuff if you ever need it. Overclocking the vram on this card will get you within 5% of a 7900xt performance wise and it only takes a little tinkering to get those results. For $529 this card is amazing. Only thing they could've done better with it was add faster memory but for the price it's an amazing card and better than the Nvidia equivalent

Im glad to see goos cards at a price point that doesnt require selling body parts/organs. I was debating between this and the 7900 XT. I went with this because its in the price range i want and the performance difference wasnt enough to spend an extra $100. The difference in VRAM isnt a big deal. Coming from 8 GB, 16 GB will last me a while. When i got home, i quickly wondered how it would pair with my viewsonic G-sync monitor i bought in 2019/2020. It looks like its working just fine. RTX isnt a huge deal for me, nicer visuals, but im mostly interested in comfortable playability (no bottlenecks).

I cam from humble beginnings, in my first pc I had an RX 580, then a 1080ti hybrid to a 4060ti then a 7900 gre. This card has far exceeded my expectations. Reviews online told me this is a pure 1440p card but this card has handled 4k like a champ while maintaining 80-90 frames high settings. At $550 MSRP I think it’s hard to beat in this price bracket. I think this is my favorite card I’ve owned since the 1080ti but AMD might be my pick for the future.

Specs, product comparisons, it's all a mess, especially when many websites will have a team green or red bias. I got this GPU after long hours of searching for the best value I could get in a GPU that *would* do the high end stuff for me. Between the awesome performance, 16gb vram, and the fact that I can stream VR games from it without glitches or stutters @4k 120..... Gonna keep this thing until either it breaks or I can afford an h100
