    Dragon vs. Dragon, Reborn!

FULL REVIEW: https://wp.me/p4T35p-gou Yakuza Kiwami 2 improves in every way upon a loved and sought after PlayStation 2 classic. The game is full of fun and emotion. It slightly falls short of Yakuza 6 but is more than worth your time. Think of it as "Final Fantasy, whoop-a** edition." Continuing the updated story begun by Yakuza 0 and the first Kiwami ties the saga together in this console generation. If you are a fan of Kiryu (or Majima), you need to experience this story.

Excellent improvements on the dragon engine

Chances are if you're this deep into the Yakuza series you already know what makes the series great. What seperates this from the dragon engine in Yakuza 6 is Kiryu doesn't feel like he's anchored down when fighting anymore. Movements are much more fluid, many heat moves make a return along with new ones & you can now stash weapons you find during a fight for the future. The story is great as with every yakuza entry, the big change is in the gameplay. It feels much more snappy/responsive like in zero but with improved physics & visuals of the new engine.

The war between two gangs struggling for power while Kiryu and Ryuji are at odds overseeing a resolution to the war is engrossing. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up to make everything more immersive from audio and visuals to combat. Well worth the money for a quality remake

Great remake of a PS2 classic

I recommend everyone new to Yakuza start with Kiwami and then move to Kiwami 2. To start here would rob you of some great enjoyment in the previous game, and 1 is harder to go back to after playing 2. These games have tons of content and can take up a lot of time if you get too invested in them. Binging on Yakuza will probably wear you out, so be sure to give each one enough time to enjoy optional content and get more invested in the world. Yakuza 2 amps up the fun insanity of the previous game and Kiwami 2 is built with a more modern engine than Kiwami 1. The Kiwami games are great remakes and you should at least try both of them before deciding if Yakuza is a series for you.

It's Yakuza! You know what you're getting if you've played the previous ones, that cool atmosphere of Kamurucho and now with a new town to explore if you've played 0 you know what I mean. Funny, entertaining, hard hitting, Yakuza style game. This is probably my 2and favorite Yakuza game after 0 and the remake does wonders to what was an already amazing game. Also one of the better final Yakuza villains

If you’re familiar with Yakuza Zero or Yakuza Kiwami, you know what to expect. Story is generally serious and well-written drama with absurd comedy interspersed, usually from the side quests. There’s also a very thorough recap of Kiwami at the beginning, so you don’t necessarily need to have played the first game before this one. Gameplay is solid 3D brawling, with a spread of updates built around 5 different types of experience points that can be gained from fighting or eating. Boss fights are still the biggest annoyance and weak point, but if you prepare with plenty of healing items you can push through. Still not enough to bother the overall experience. Great game overall. And the steel book case is a solid plus, with nice artwork inside and out. A+ purchase.

This game is a remake of Yakuza 2 from the playstation 2 but done on the new engine sega uses for the other Yakuza games. Now boasting better graphics and better gameplay with upgraded cinematics and voice over. The game includes much of the charm that other yakuza games have such and minigames, seaming transitions and tight controls. definitely a must get for any fans of the series.

This is an amazing game which showcases the quality of storytelling and character development video games are capable of. These are some of the best stories I’ve ever experience in gaming. If you’re a fan of the series then you already have this game, if you’re not a fan then you need to play this game. The game is in Japanese so you got to read subtitles.

A amazing story, crazy silly fun minigames, and some of the most serious and silliest sidequest. This game also the same game engine as yakuza 6, so you'll be right at home with this if you have played that. It's just a game you have to experience to understand what this series is about. Also the steelbook is absolutely gorgeous.
