Good sound quality. Individual speaker adjustments to custom fit the area you are placing the system in. Easy to setup. The 4 HDMI ports make using the receiver for TV and gaming systems easy.

I got this as an open box item. It arrived in excellent condition. My only quibble is that it did not include an instruction manual, but for the savings it was easy to download one. I have a fairly small area for my home theater and this receiver is more than adequate. The sound quality is great and I really like the auto equalization for the room using the YPAO mic.

Had to replace my old receiver because it didn't have HDMI connections. This was a good price and had everything I was looking for. Good sound. The remote is easy to access the features.

Purchased this Yamaha receiver to replace a Sony receiver that never worked well from the day I purchased it. I love this receiver, great sound and easy to setup with the speaker sound device that comes with the receiver. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good receiver.

I purchased this unit to replace my old stereo that stopped sending sound to one of my surround sound speakers. I found it very easy to setup which is a plus for my novice abilities. I have also connected my other components very easily. The remote is clearly marked so it is very easy to use. Great unit at a good price!

Am very happy with this purchase. Has several pre-programmed sound settings for different effects. The only drawback is that the unit must be on for the HDMI to work. Not a true pass through.

This A/V receiver was purchased to replace old system at my dad's house. Set up was somewhat tricky even using HDMI cables for Blu-ray DVD, satellite box and TV. Sound is what I expected from Yamaha through a pair of Klipsch Heresy front speakers. Will be adding better surround speakers in future.

Works great for the home theater I was trying to build. Has a lot of settings to tune and equalise your surround sound to how you desire. It also has a feature to control the minimum and maximum volume for when you turn it on and how loud you feel comfortable with. It is definitely a must have for a decent priced home theater system. I would suggest this, it gets the job done. It has many video HDMI ports so you can run your devices such as game consoles or blue ray players through it to your t.v. Works great for what I wanted it for!

Bought to replace a similar model hit by lightening. Nice receiver that is easy to use. Doesn't work well with a charter remote. Turns on but doesn't turn off, or at least I can't get it to.

We purchased this unit to connect to an Apple TV box so we could use the Digital Optical Audio connection. For the price and for what we needed to run the audio for a projector this unit is a great deal!

A good receiver for the money the auto set features are good the souround sound is good plenty of power really like the ability to plug in any device with the USB

Works for what I needed it for. I can't figure out how to put just the front, center and subwoofer speakers on without the rear surround speakers. But I am guessing if I would research it a little more, I could find it. Overall good product for the price.
