I have to give this receiver five stars on its value alone, but I can't find a single big fault with it when comparing it to others costing two or three times more.....unless you want to go the 7.2 route and need a gazillion watts output.

I'm so thankful I bought this receiver to go with my Samsung UHD 4k TV. The surround sound is amazing and hooking it up with the ARC makes it even better. I would definitely recommend this purchase if you are interested in a new receiver.

For the price a good value. We are satisfied. My equipment was old so it was a little more complicated because my specific situation wasn't included in the set up instructions. I went online for the manual and it was no problem to get set up.

Much more full featured than I would have expected at entry level pricing. I'm still figuring some features out. Others I will never use.

The sound quality is wonderful. We actually purchased this product as an open box. It works perfect. I would recommend it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's priced a little high if purchased regular price.

Just added this to our entertainment center and it makes my space sound great. The HDMI feature is also great, love controlling all of my devices from one device. LOVE IT!!!!!

bought the SONY RX-V377BL receiver for a friend and his wife. hooked unit up and they were amazed not only with the sound, but the video processing. very happy with my purchase. great price and great service at Best Buy. thanks

This is an excellent amplifier (so far). I am regretting the fact that it doesn't have the ability to switch to a second set of speakers since I want to connect it to an outdoor set. Will have to do external to the amp. Also still working on fine tuning sound for a two speaker arrangment--this is really set up for surround sound and doesn't work as well without the full complement without a bit of fine-tuning. May go that direction, but the wife won't be happy about all the extra speakers. However, it does have the ability to fine tune the sound to your exact room and set up, which should allow me to get it just right.

I was lucky to find this as an open box item. It is a great receiver. Easy to setup even with no instructions as those were missing. I have had for 2 months and love it.

Very good purchase bought an RCA the first time and broke after 7 mos. great price and features for my living room and surround sound.

Went to store looking for a new home theater and not sure which to but this one works better then the one I had before, makes it sound like you are in a movie theater. I'm not a tech so I can't say much more about it.

Very good surround sound from my Sony 55 inch 4K 3D TV. It would have been great if it had 2 audio optical inputs instead of just one. Still very satisfied with performance and did not have to break the bank to purchase.

This receiver has some really great features but still at an economical price. It has 4 HDMI inputs for high definition quality from multiple units. It has Component inputs and RCA inputs which allow for a diversity of connections. It also has an 1/8 inch auxiliary input and a USB input on the front which makes it convenient to connect from an Ipod, Ipad or Iphone. This receiver is a great value for the price.

Easy to set up , Price was very reasonable & Superb sound

I have had a variety of receivers over the years, including Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo, Carver, and Yamaha consistently is a solid performer that simply lasts forever. If you need a very good sounding, solid receiver that can do HDMI switching, with CEC support, you can't beat this for the price.

We upgraded from a whale sized TV and needed a new receiver to handle the HDMI cables. This receiver connected everything and we love our new TV and sound system.

I jus wanted a basic sound system to attach to my new ceiling speakers installed in our new home. seems to work just fine and easy to set up (important!)

A very good price on a product I hooked my old KLH MDL 20 to and its nice have them pushed by Yamaha's 100 watts. Still figuring out the matches of choice of sounds for each medium and having a blast.

Nothing but good things to say about this receiver. Perfect for our needs in our rather large living room. Have polk sub, center and front speakers, using the virtual surround feature. Sounds great!

This is my second Yamaha receiver I bought my first one in 2000. After that I tried a Onkyo which lasted 1.5 years. My first Yamaha is still going strong enough said it works and sounds great.
