These are true, wireless speakers. They also allowed me to operate my stereo from my phone which was convenient. However the sound does 'break up' if you walk between the speaker and the transmitting head unit. The sound is ok and hooking them up took about 4 calls to Yamaha's support team. So they are not easy to install but worth it for true, wireless sound.

I returned this product because I purchased them to go along with my Yamaha receiver but it didn't work with Dolby Atmos. The sound alone was great but I feel you can find better options and price for a portable speaker. I use the Sonos eco system and it's great.

Would have preferred Sonos speakers but all in all I am happy with the sound. I have to work on the positioning of the speakers to maximize the sound quality. But is nice to have my turntable on my wireless system now so I cannot complain.

The sound set up as stereo is pretty good but ultimately will be using them as rear surround speakers with my receiver. All good and very flexible

Decent for streaming, but not for other sources

I bought this in conjunction with another shaker and the pre-amplifier unit. My desire was to avoid having to put in ceiling speakers throughout the house. My main use was to be able to broadcast all sources throughout the house. I.e. phono, cassette, FM radio, 8 track, etc. However there is such a delay between my main wired speakers and these wireless speakers that it rendered then useless for me. The cost is about equal, so im going the in ceiling speaker route. Additionally, the streaming hiccups from time to time. Overall, not a fan and would not recommend.

Great speakers, sounds great with all the latest options including using these for wireless surround sound which works great. Works with Echo. Not so much with google.

I really like this speaker. I use this speaker to stream music to. I can take it to the garage or to the patio. I like that I can listen to musiccast music from my Yamaha receiver or Sirius radio on line from the computer.

The multicast system doesn’t deliver. Set up frequently need re-installation. Unable to connect to a subwoofer also multicast. A huge waste of money and effort. My old Bose works better.
