This Yamaha WX010 wireless speaker is good value at 99.95. This speaker has a solid built body with beautiful shiny finish. The sound is very warm,you can adjust the treble n bass with Yamaha music cast app. Over all this speaker has many other features like WiFi connection,blue tooth and u can use it with your music cast Yamaha receiver.

These little speakers fit into the environment in an almost invisible footprint. I have purchased three of them and now simply have a five zone sound system. I had outdoor speakers, my home theater and I added one to the master bedroom, the family room, and my office. Bass is good, almost too strong for the rest of the sound. I found them lacking in the vocals in many songs, but not all songs. Since these are used mostly for background music, they work quite well. While $180 may seem like a lot for a just adequate speaker, the cost justification is in the ease at which the enter the system. Plug it in, turn it on, synch it, name it, you are playing music in a new room. Compare that to running wires, it's a no brainer. Now, I don't want to come across as negative about the sound, rather I would just have preferred something a little sweeter with stronger vocal performance. With the app, you can adjust low, midrange, and high frequencies. With that adjustment, I've gotten them sounding pretty good in my environment. Which by the way is pretty large as I have 10' ceilings. They perform well. Consider them if you have a Yamaha system that supports them.

If you like the wireless option for remote speakers on your Yamaha home audio then this is very good. It has small footprint but packs a decent punch. The connection is very stable but somewhat intricate to figure out the app and all the options available. I like that it can operate as a standalone bluetooth or networked speaker. Has a longer power cord too. I wish it was PoE capable, that would be my only dislike. But it is a very good little wifi speaker for the Yamaha systems.

Works well, So-so Sound. You get Airplay/Chromecast streaming from devices and spotify/pandora other services built in. Their app is a little hard to navigate. The WX-030 sounds way better, but it's price reflects that.

Really good speaker for multi room home audio. Good sound but not what I was looking for at the time! Was on sale for a great price easy blue tooth connecting but wanted a wireless speaker

I bought two of these to go with my RX-V681 reciever. First of all these integrated flawlessly so I can play music in my Living Room, Kitchen, and Bedroom. The app works great, I had no problem setting up the speakers, and can direct the music to whichever rooms I want. The speakers sound good, not great, it really depends on the type of music. There is not a lot of low end, but the mids and highs are great. I got these on sale for $100 each, and for that price they are great, but I wouldn’t pay the $180 MSRP for them.

I love these speakers, they sound superb. I now have 6 of them. The only thing I don't like is the Musicast software sometimes can be glitchy

A little hard to set up for the non-technical person. There is a delay of a second or two from the main receiver speakers but the sound is good

Unwrapped and plugged it in. Downloaded the app and started right in. Simple to use with Pandora, Spotify, etc. I wanted to play music in my deck in the back yard. I used to leave the screen door open from the house but the music, of course, sounds muffled and no clarity. Speaker has sufficient high and low tones so it fits the bill.

I have a MusicCast receiver and have been looking for a way to add wireless speakers to another room. I researched SONOS and BOSE and the Yamaha offered similar performance for a better price so I tried it. The speaker connects easily and has very good sound. Occasional delays in the broadcast to the farthest speaker but I believe that has more to do with the wifi single in that area.

I was rerunning wires through my family room wall to the patio after re-stuccoing and trying to figure out how to camouflage them when I realized there must be better technology, and there was. Wi-Fi ready speakers I can run with my phone. You'll have to upload your favorite CDs to your computer, then covert and transfer them to ITunes on your phone, but once your music is on your phone, you can plug the speakers in anyway, including outside, and drive the music from your phone. Great sound and very portable.

This wireless speaker was easy to connect with my main receiver. It is compact with a nice look. I wanted to be able to hear music/ tv/ cds through out the house without raising the volume in the main room. The remote speaker accomplishes that.

I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality and volume.

It was a little hard to install for the novice, but with a little help from my more tech savvy daughter, we got it done and it works great

It does what it supposed to do. But it's sound is not great. It's ok, but if you like and expect good sound out of your speakers don't buy this speaker. If you need the speaker for the music cast, then buy the bigger speaker. I have it in my kitchen, and it just sounds hollow and not crisp. I don't have a lot of room so the size works great, but the sound is disappointing.

Bought this speaker to complete home sound throughout. Sounds nice and app works pretty well. Fun to use and have music on demand from my phone and app on it.

I got 2 of these, linked them for stereo. Great sound for a little speaker. Learning curve is not easy, look up videos to lean how to use them.

After having the same speakers for three decades, I decided to go outside my box and try something different. So glad I did, and was surprised of the sound the compact speakers made. Also the price was reasonable.

I was introduced to Musicast with thsi speaker. Flawlessly works with WiFi or Bluetooth. It is portable and top quality.
