I don't typically care for this style of music (folk) since I'm a metal head, but Myles definitely delivers on this solo release! Don't worry, the whole album isn't folk. The stand out track for me is Love Can Only Heal. The bonus tracks were great to hear some stripped down versions of the songs.

Myles Kennedy has recorded a great album about his life as painful as his life has been. It took him 10 years to finally be able to do this album. Amazing songs from the heart!

Great solo album from Myles Kennedy. He is awesome as part of Alter Bridge and with Slash, but he gets to shine here!!

Long fan of Alterbridge, and Tremonti... so to hear that Myles Kennedy was coming out with a solo album was off the chain for me. One of the few albums I have ever pre-ordered. It wasn't to disappoint. Although a little more folk than the hard rocking I had expected, Myles still hits every note within his range somewhere in the track list. Overall if you're a fan of his vocal talents you wont be disappointed... but if you are expecting an Alterbridge offshoot... this isn't it.

I miss the Best Buy Exclusive cds, which would come in special packaging, with extra tracks and/or a dvd. Now that I got that out of the way.... This is a great Miles Kennedy solo album. I enjoyed the music on this as much as I do with the works he does with Alter Bridge & Slash. To me, he has the best voice in current hard rock.

Love Myles Kennedy from his work with Slash and the Conspirators to Alterbridge with Mark Tremonti. The guy has an amazing voice and is a super talented guitar player as well. This record demonstrates his acoustic and blues chops. Fans of heavier music might not dig it, but I love the whole down home gritty vibe of this record.

I have been a big fan of Myles Kennedy since I discovered him at a Slash concert a few years ago. I have purchased all of their albums, and then gone back to his Alter Bridge and Mayfield Four days. This album is a welcome addition, with his amazing vocals, although a bit scaled back for this personal release.

Great solo artist Cd from the greatest rock vocalist of this age. Every song is strong and worth a listen! Sometimes when an artist in a prominent band puts out a solo project, the results can be lousy, but this is not the case with this Cd.

If you are a fan of Myles work with Alter Bridge or Slash, you will like this. One of the best voices in rock and a pretty darn good guitar player.

This is a solo disc from one of the greatest singers to ever preform! Best of all Best Buy exclusive!!! Extra tracks! Its a shame they are doing away with music cd's.

This album has good lyrics and good acoustic guitar work. I like Myles as a hard rock singer with occasional slow songs thus the good not excellent rating.

Myles is one of the best and talented singer and songwriters out there. Mellow but meaning full album.

If you're here, you probably already know who Myles Kennedy is... and man, what a voice. Definitely worth giving his first solo album a listen.

Myles Kennedy is one of my favorite vocalists. He always puts out quality music, whether it is with Alter Bridge, Slash, and now solo!

Love Alter Bridge? Love Mayfield Four? Love Slash? Myles Kennedy solo work was worth the wait, in my opinion.

I’m a big fan of Miles. While not as good as the Slash and Alter Bridge releases, it’s pretty good.

Great Cd by Myles Kennedy nicely done acoustic album. Very different from Alter Bridge.

Myles is an amazing artist. This solo album is everything I expected. I’ve seen him on tour also. Incredible show.

Mostly acoustic album, and as much as I like Myles' stuff, it gets a little formulaic resulting in nothing really standing out. Further, the bonus demo tracks are nearly indistinguishable from the final versions, making me glad that I didn't go all in on the higher priced "deluxe" version he had available directly from his site.

This album is different from his stuff from Alter Bridge and Slash. It can be a tad dark, but Myles does deliver.
