Mostly acoustic solo record
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mostly acoustic solo record, making the acoustic demos somewhat redundant (it also led me to not purchase the box set version which had a collection of demos of some of the other tracks; to have all the demos, you would have needed to have both this disc and the box set). Having said that, it's a pretty solid collection of tunes, but when everything is acoustic, the songs don't contrast against each other, so it feels like there isn't much variety here. A proper new record with Slash is coming later in 2018.

One of the best CD's that I have heard in 20 years

All of the songs are well written and Myles has an authentic approach to his music. He has really shown his skills with this one that's for sure! Song Bird and One Fine day are just two of my favorites so far. This is one CD that you can just let play all the way through
