It has low frame rate in some areas. The combat system is odd. Only good if you are already a fan of the series. As a stand alone game it’s not that great.

Two and a half years after its release in Japan we finally got Yo-Kai Watch 3 localized! This release is based on Sukiyaki which was the third and best version of it released in Japan. So though we are not getting multiple versions we are still getting the best one. This game is every bit as fun as Yo-Kai Watch 2 with improved combat and a whole host of new Yo-Kai to catch. While I question the localization choice of renaming USA to BBQ I imagine it was done to line up with the anime dub and doesn't really detract from the game. If you like YW2 you will certainly have fun here. I just hope we don't have to wait another two years for the next one.
