I don’t place my phone face down on surfaces, and I place it in my pocket without any other items. I’m not sure what they’ve changed between last year’s models and this, but it is a definite step in the wrong direction as far as scratch durability is concerned. Obviously, it still provides protection, and I can’t see the scratches with the screen on, or it would have a lower rating.
