Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the protection offered by the InvisibleShield® GlassFusion+ screen protector for the Microsoft Surface Duo. However, many find the installation process challenging and the instructions unclear, leading to difficulties in application and resulting in bubbles or other issues. Some also express concerns about the overall quality and durability of the product, particularly its susceptibility to scratches and its less-than-ideal feel. The screen protector's material and adherence to the device's edges are also points of contention for some users.

Great Screen Protector For Your Surface Duo

Installing the ZAGG InvisibleShield for the Surface Duo can be a bit tricky. I have done a video that you can see on how it might help you install the GlassFusion+ on your Surface Duo easier. The GlassFusion+ is a flexible screen protector that does feel somewhat like if it was the glass of the Surface Duo. You are able to use a stylus with no drag with the ZAGG InvisibleShield GlassFusion+ screen protector. The stylus glides smoothly across the screen to take notes, mark up documents, sign, or just draw on the screen. There are some drawbacks, when you use a stylus it does leave marks on the screen protector for a bit, it has like a self-healing screen that makes the stylus marks go away after a while. This screen protector in no way affects the clarity of the display, so everything looks crystal clear. Also, it does seem to be easier to get smudges when touching the screen with your fingers, before I installed the ZAGG InvisibleShield it would get smudges on the screen but they were not as noticeable as they see to be with the GlassFusion+ Overall, I do recommend the ZAGG InvisibleShield GlassFusion+ screen protector for your Microsft Surface Duo! very good shield

great screen protector. covers all 4 sides. harder to put on than the phone ones, but the results were flawless. if you've done the phone versions of these shields, it's done the same way. the difference, is that the plastic backing that's under the shield is much thicker, so it's harder to get it out/ off the shield. 1. clean the phone really well , one side at a time, no bed to do all four at once. 2. I don't use the red plastic guide, but you can if you want. align the shield, stick it on. use the squeegee to adhere it to the screen. 3. hold on to the bottom half with squeegee. now, peel the top half to over 120 to 140 degrees, then move squeegee to the top (you may have someone else help you to remove the thick plastic backing as you move to the top. 4. do the same for the lower half. 5. YOU MUST ANGLE THE HALVES BY OVER 120 DEGREES, OTHERWISE THE BACKING WON'T COME OFF. 6. use squeegee to iron out any remaining bubbles and peel the top protector off. done .

    Instructions Somewhat misleading

I've installed several Zagg products over the years, and this was the most difficult for sure. The instructions tells you go lift tab 2 and push towards the top. What it means is there is a center seal (a split sticker seal) that needs to be lifted and bent to open and lay down the screen protector. It is very tough to do. A few dust spots got under but I finally got it. Was so scared to bend the screen protector. Hopefully will hold. Will most likely have to do warranty after a while and the dust that got trapped lifts the protector.

The screen protector works well...as described. But, it was difficult to install. In fact, I damaged on of the inside screen protectors installing it. There's like four steps to install one, and the instructions were not completely clear. After fumbling around and damaging the first one you get the idea of the process, but that doesn't make installing the other three any easier. Zagg has a good warranty, so I will return the damaged one. But still, not the easiest to put on the phone.

This is a difficult review. The ZAGG Duo screen protector does a great job of protecting all four sides of the Duo. Like so many others, though, I found the installation to be very difficult. Surprisingly, I was able to get all four sheets applied without any bubbles or dust under them. I'm a perfectionist and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out...but it took a lot of work to get it right. I did have a problem with 1 sheet where it folded on itself and created a few small creases, but fortunately this was on an outside sheet and it's not very noticeable. There aren't many options yet for Duo screen protectors. The ZAGG is great quality, but you're going to need some patience to get it installed correctly.

I have installed a lot of screen protectors including zagg and this one gave me a headache trying to apply properly, The tabs labeled 2 and 3 did not come off easily to adhere to the screen protector. The install could have done without those. I will probably have to use a warranty replacement to redo the first screen.

Best screen protector for Surface Duo

While these screen protectors are a bit difficult to install (as noted by lots of people), once you understand that you need to remove both the top and bottom layers AFTER positioning them on the screen, they make some sense and work out well. One bubble has stuck around, but the overall glass-like (they are vinyl) feel and easy of cleaning are worth it. The price, at half price, was also a reason I got them.

just don't bother. overly complex. whatever happened to just peeling off the plastic and sticking it on? if I could give 1 star, I would. truly the worst. words can't even come close to what I felt after installing this (or half of it). just set your $40 on fire instead of spending it on this. the tabs holding the plastic covers on tore off on 2 out of 4 panels. and it's NOT because of user error. when I got done, I just laughed and peeled it off and threw all of this in the trash.

As most other reviewers have said, this screen protector is a complete waste of money. The bottom layer that is removed right before the final adhesion to the phone is so hard to remove that you end having to touch the actual adhesive layer of the screen protector or bend/crease it by trying to rip the tiny tab they give you to hold on to. I think they're all just defective and it was never meant to be that difficult to remove, but who knows. Hard pass, do not buy. Light your $40 on fire, it'll give you more satisfaction.

over all its great coverage. The 2 outer shields seem to be a tuff plastic/glass. the inner shields are a thin plastic. Instructions for installation are horrible but thankfully at my job I install similar products so I had some practice. What I recommend if bought in store, have the Geek Squad install is because they have practice and if they messed up they can do it all over.

The frustration this thing gave me was beyond words I could put here. Not only was the instalation abysmal but thanks to that antibacterial surface it gets slimy fast. I find myself cleaning the surface of fingerprints and slick greasy something more then actually enjoying holding the device without it. If you need to protect your screens get it for the moment, otherwise take a hard pass until something better is made.

Product so far is holding up. Installing the item is frustrating since instructions is vague. Not meant for beginners. I installed it in my bathroom after steaming the whole place to minimize dust in the air. I only figured how to install it after making a mistake on my 1st time. It is ridiculous fee Best buy charges to install it. $40 dollars i think they were charging me for them to install it but i understand why now.

So I've installed screen protectors from film to glass all my life on my phone, coworkers, and friends/families phone. I'm the go to screen protector installer. That being said - this is either the hardest screen protector to install in the world - or this wasn't cut right because even following the instructions (which is like a million steps long) parts of the multilayered adhesive protectors will not come off (I'm looking at your tab 3 and tab 4). So I gave up and returned it. I have never had this much trouble ever. And looking at other reviewers (wish I saw them prior to purchase) it looks like I am not alone. If you do buy this, its not really glass, its like a film, pay Best Buy Geek Squad to install this because good luck doing it yourself. Have them mess up and refund you lol.

Just like other reviewers mentioned, unless you're lucky, you'll get significant bubbles along the crease. Over time these bubbles will start to lift the screen protector off of the phone. The adhesive for this is too weak in my opinion, and the instillation process is a headache for nonprofessionals. I would not recommend buying this product. You'll be throwing $40 down the drain.

Quite possibly, the single most difficult installation of any screen protector I've ever done. I've completed hundreds of installations from my time as a Sales Rep and other positions in the mobile industry. I would not recommend this to any consumer, and would advise to have the store professionals handle the installation. Otherwise, the film is fairly soft and does seem to scratch easily. It's not bad for a film but it doesn't self heal and is prone to getting fingerprints and smudge. It's fine and does it's job.

They make you peel off five pieces off of hard plastic just to get to the screen protector The protector itself is plastic which mines i got it installed two days later it has scratches over it just for my fingers rubbing on it in my opinion is worser than a tpu flim also two other pieces they make you peel off the screen protector have red letters on it that chip off when you're peeling it off and gets onto the sticky part of the screen protector not very easy to get out and shows very easily on the White way overpriced you can get Chinese ones for $7 that are easier to peel off plastic to get to the protector and the funny thing is they work the same as this one I was hoping for a better quality p/s not all ZAGG are bad I have the iPhone one and I love it I guess they overpriced this one cuz they didn't have that many competitors didn't make much of an effort on making it

I needed a screen protector for my Microsoft Surface Duo since it has glass on all 4 faces. ZAGG - InvisibleShield was the only product that was ready before the Surface Duo shipped. I was a bit nervous but I figured that I would give it a try since I wanted the device to be protected beyond the bumper case that was supplied with it. It was tricky to apply but eventually, it went on fine. I would recommend it for protection for the Microsoft Surface Duo

The quality isn't there for screen protection, and is a Fingerprint magnet. The only good selling point is the 4 part shield... I would have opted for on the back panel shields.
