I bought the zagg slim case first and this case is heavier but a way better product.

This case is the best of both worlds. Allows keyboard or tablet to be used separately.

I bought this keyboard case so I wouldn’t have to bring my laptop on a vacation (because I was going to have to get work done while away). It served its purpose well and was very versatile. The keyboard worked great, love the backlit keys. It’s a bit bulky, but better than my laptop.

I wanted to find a product that gave me heavy-duty protection for my new iPad Air 2, a high-quality and responsive keyboard, and the flexibility to attach/detach they keyboard easily. This product was a home run. Yes, it's pricey, but well worth the investment to protect your device. It offers the best mobile keyboard I've used yet, and I test drove many before making this purchase. And while it is pretty hefty when the iPad and the keyboard are attached, when you detach the iPad it's actually less bulky than the Otterbox Defender while offering excellent drop protection. The border around the screen has a raised, rubberized edge that allows you to place the iPad face down without scratching the glass, but I highly recommend that you add a Zagg InvisiShield screen for the final layer of full protection.

Works great, easy to pair with the iPad. I would definitely buy another.

First let me say, I am very careful with all my equipment. I purchased new iPad last August and purchased a zagg cover with keyboard. (On that on I didn't get BestBuy replacement policy.). When hinge mechanism broke only a few months later, I went back and bought a Targus case (this time with replacement plan). When hinge mechanism broke on that one, Best Buy replace with another one just like it. Then again hinge mechanism broke and Best Buy no longer carried the Targus. I went looking at what they had, this time they had the Zagg Rugged. It has been great. It is a little bulkier, but I feel better about it containing my iPad.

I saw this item while looking for a case for my new iPad Air. It is very handy to have access to a keyboard when you need one. I like that the keyboard detaches when not needed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is a bit pricey although well made and worth the cost.

This is the best IPad case I have ever owned (I have gone through many to include Apple Cases). I travel for work several times a month and must carry my iPad with me. All previous cases I have owned have broken within a couple months from use. (Constant open close, occasional drop etc.) This case has not even shown a scratch. I love the face that the keyboard separates from the screen very easily. I also MUST add that unlike other cases, this one has never had a Bluetooth connection issue, it stays connected with no problem. So far I have taken it overseas, camping, hiking, backpacking and horse back riding and no adverse effects.

Zagg has produced an excellent keyboard in a lightweight and compact case. The magnet connection holds the iPad in place and connects the bluetooth keyboard automatically. It provides lightweight protection for the iPad in reading mode as well. Convenient to use.

Lives in a teenagers bookbag and not a scratch! This case is great!
