My iPad Air loves this thing lol. It's a little heavy but with all the features I can't complain! My iPad is well protected when it's easily detached from the keyboard and securely pops right back in when needing the keyboard! Long battery life and all around pretty cool. If you don't buy it,I really don't care but you should anyway!

My Zagg's Bluetooth key board for a tablet or iPad Air is the best that I have purchased since I bought one for my 1st iPad. The keyboard offers a lighted board in different colors----great for all kinds of typing work in dim light conditions for travel, library cubicles, with silent key board.

I have used a Zagg Folio Keyboard Case in the past and found it to be efficient as well as good-looking. But I believe that this case is going to live up to its name- RUGGED. With the amount of traveling that I do, this is what I need.

The case offers good protection for my iPad. It looks nice and neat and gets the job done with quality. Very good purchase.

This is my second Zagg keyboard cover for my iPad. I used the first one every day, multiple times a day for over 2 years. The hinge mechanism seemed to get loose and eventually didn't support the iPad. This doesn't sound like an affirmation. It is! The Zagg was the only case cover I could find that permitted me to use the iPad like a laptop in terms of screen in front and keyboard control. It didn't seem worth the time or cost to try to get the hinge fixed. The tools I had didn't have any effect on the screws. So I got another one because I couldn't find another product that did what the Zagg did. Oh yes, it probably didn't help the hinges the many times I dropped it or it tumbled from a table. Never any damage to the iPad. End of story.

After looking for a keyboard case for my I Pad and trying a couple of others. I got excited to see the Rugged Folio by Zagg. I bought it and from the moment I put it on I fell in love with it. The versatility of the case is exactly what I wanted. The ability to have just a protective case for my I Pad to having a keyboard case to having a stand to watch movies is what I needed. It makes the I Pad bulky and a little heavy but that is a small trade off for what I can do with my I Pad now. I find when I am on the road I just leave my laptop behind because my I Pad with the keyboard will do what I need. The manufacture says you only have to charge it once every two years and will have to let you know if that is true because I have only had it a couple of months. The Keyboard is very good size and with the backlit keys it makes it working in low light conditions very easy. So far the hinge is holding up well stays right where I put it. If you use the touch screen a lot you can put it in reverse mode and it is very stable.

What I love: the backlit keys, ruggedness, comfort of key size, snug fit around my iPad. It's easy to detach the two halves of the case, allowing me to have the iPad without keyboard in a good protective cover, or I can leave them joined to have iPad plus keyboard well protected. I wish the case opened a bit wider more easily, but it's a minor complaint. The iPad plus case are a bit heavy, but again, it's a minor complaint--I'd rather have the sturdiness and add a few ounces.

I love this case. It's very much like a Otter Box Defender type case except this also has a really good keyboard that can be attached or detached easily. With the keyboard, the ipad can be held up without the need for a kickstand (like the Surface). Pair this keyboard case with the iPad Air and essentially, you have a solid MacBook. I will admit that this case and keyboard is much heavier than the MacBook Air and bulkier too.

This is my Third Zaag portfolio. Luckily, I purchased the extended warranty and have been able to replace the first two when they failed. I am very rough on keyboards--one fell out of the car in a construction zone in Yellowstone Nat'l park, was out in the rain for 5 days, and later found and returned to me. The problem I have had consistently with my two prior keyboards was a failure of the keyboard to engage, even when it is connected properly. This keyboard has been great so far--no problems with switching back and forth between the iPad touch keyboard and this one. While my prior case endured pretty heavy abuse, I'm confident that this one is even more sturdy. The down side is that it is slightly heavier, but I am willing to accept that.

I bought this case because I wanted a keyboard and I also wanted to be able to change it around for viewing videos or movies. The case is magnetic and easy to change up. Only drawback is that the case is heavy. Overall, I like it alot. I would give it five stars if it were lighter.

I was searching for a few weeks for the best case for my new IPad Air and was unable to find something to meet my needs. Then while waiting for a youtube video I saw an ad for this case. Sometimes it pays to not click skip ad. This provides enough durability for my 3 year old and 7 year old to use it without me worrying. The magnetic hinge is flawless. The ability to separate the keyboard from the tablet is nice. Bluetooth is easy to setup. Plus the keyboard has the "smart" feature to auto lock/unlock/sleep/wake the tablet. This is the perfect one I was looking for to hopefully withstand our plane flight and time down at Disney. Must see the official video to watch all of its features.

When my first Ipad fell and shattered the screen, i wanted a good case with a keyboard option for my new Ipad Air. I found this cool looking one, bought it on a whim, with every intention of returning it, if not 100% satisfied. This keyboard case is very secure, sturdy & versatile. My ipad tablet now feels and acts like a mini laptop, detaches and flips easy when i want to play games or watch a movie. So many different position for every task. Long battery life and backlit key options are an added bonus. i love it!

I was looking for a new iPad case with a keyboard. I had a Logitech (i think) but my iPad kept slipping out of place which would cause it to basically shut off. SO frustrating. I wanted a sturdy case with a keyboard where the iPad would not slip out of place. This one is perfect. It's SO sturdy, the iPad locks into place, and it's exactly what I was looking for. If there's a downside, it's a bit heavy ... but I will take that any day for the security of knowing my iPad is protected and I don't have to deal with that slipping problem.

This is the best keyboard case for the iPad. It is almost indestructible and our salesforce puts it to the test every day. We have tried all the other keyboard cases and they all pale in comparison to the level of protection that this case provides. Plus the keyboard only needs to be recharged every 2 years! It is heavy though but other than that it is perfect!

I purchased this after going through three other keyboard covers that didn't hold up. I wish I'd bought this one first! It's versatile-detaches easily and two other convenient standing positions. The keyboard is quite pleasing and I adapted to it quickly. It's very responsive. This cover is fairly heavy--why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5. However, it's sturdy and does a great job of protecting my iPad.

This keyboard works awesome. Pairs up with the iPad automatically after the first use. Very strong and durable and comes with a heavy duty case that stays on the iPad even when not using the keyboard. Very nice product.

The Zagg Rugged Folio Case has worked well to protect the iPad Air, and it provides an easy-to-use backlit keyboard that streamlines text entry. It allows easy separation of the keyboard when you're just reading or surfing, and the hinge tension seems to be holding up well.

Not only is this case rugged (think Otterbox) it works great. It easily comes apart at the hinge making photos very easy and goes back together just as quick. The keyboard is big enough but not so much that it still is compact. I've used others and this is hands down the best

This keyboard-cover was exactly what I was looking for. Strong and secure, yet easy to use. Love that the iPad easily comes off the keyboard. I use my iPad with children and it has been knocked often--no problem.
