Here’s the thing about this movie it’s good but there’s no denying it’s an updated twist on the timeless Robin Williams classic Jumanji if you watch the movie expecting it to rival the classic movie Jumanji then you will be disappointed but if you try to let the movies stand on its own nation you will understand that they were trying to bring that same magic to a different generation and it’s pretty enjoyable you get to see you Young Josh Hutcherson long before he gained his fame in the hunger games trilogy his acting in this movie isn’t great though but I think some of that has to do with age and some of that has to do with writing But it is fun to see how he has progressed as an actor Tim Robbins plays a small role As the father of the family I feel like he could’ve been utilized more he’ great dax ShepardTurns in the strongest performance and really helps to bolster the movie for those of you who are fans you also get to see A young Kristen Stewart I personally didn’t like her character but maybe you will feel differently the story is well told My only complaint is the whiny dialogue between the two brothers but then again sometimes that’ is realistic when it comes to sibling relationships the CG is not groundbreaking but it is not bad either and you really do feel like you go on the adventure with the characters the movie also has a strong ending which I feel elevates it So while this movie might have some limitations that keep it from being out of this world I think most people will find it an enjoyable adventure for the whole family

My son loves watching movies and he has watched Zathura over and over. Loves the robot.

This movie does share a lot in common with Jumanji, but it’s a face-paced, exciting, family-friendly adventure. And the blu-ray provides good video and audio quality.

My daughter asked for this for Christmas, so it’ll be in her stocking! Good movie!

This is a fun adventure of two brothers and their sister, involving a board game similar to Jumanji, but taking place in outer space. This blu ray version had good picture and sound quality. A great movie for older kids, but I still enjoy this as an adult.

This movie will keep the audience watching because of the unexpected twists and surprises in the story. In the beginning, the two brothers in the story have a very strained relationship. The story pushes them together and forces the pair to work on their issues, making them both better people in the end.

Great family movie for the holidays. Great science fiction story with evil aliens, time travel and two brothers who find a a game that transports the two brothers, their sister, and their house into an alternate dimension in space. If you enjoyed Jumangi then you will enjoy this story.

A little scary for my grandson, but I love this movie. The fighting between the brothers is believable. The action is well paced and the move looks great. I love the twist towards the end and watching how my grandson understood it. Definitely recommend this movie.

This movie is similar to Jumanji in the sense that is based on two kids playing a board game which effects their reality. It has a couple twists and turns along the way and many comedic moments. It is a good movie that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

This was Jon Favreau’s follow up project after Elf and I think a much better film. Based on the book by the same name from the writer of Jumanji; the story shares similar elements. Instead of a jungle the board game transports two quarreling brothers into outer space via their house. A good kids’ film that adults will get a kick out of too.

If you liked jumanji this movie is written from the same author. Fun board game that becomes real to the players. Great visuals thanks to jon favreau. Good movie but i like jumanji just a little bit more

I bought this movie for my daughter, I didn't think I would like it, but it was actually really good. I highly recommend it, especially if you have kids.

I didn't really know what to expect from this movie and I watched it only recently for the first time. I initially thought it was going to be a Jumanji clone and, although there were some obvious Jumanji elements, it was a great movie in it's own right.

My son was bugging me for a while to get this movie ever since he saw a preview for it on another dvd. Good movie with quite a few future stars in it.

Early work as a director for Jon Favreau (before Iron Man) and a young Kristen Stewart before the Twilight series. Great fun fantasy adventure...

Not a great film, but still a fun family fun to watch together. Great audio and video quality.

My 8 year old twins loved the movie. Good fun for all, even the parents. Blu ray transfer was very good given the age of the movie. Recommended.

Jon Favreau directed this fun little movie, from the same author as Jumanji. Great performances and inventive effects, worth owning!
