    If you know anything about Zeiss they pride themselves in crisp, clear images. This lens does not disappoint. The 40mm for me is perfect, the one focal length that was in between everything I owned. The close focus adds another amazing feature. Get this lens.

    The glass is fantastic; the color is very neutral and true world looking, the sharpness of the images you get is great. Excellent contrast and the highlights that the zeiss lens has are very solid and controlled.

    Slow AF for action sports. Was surprised because other Batis lens are better.
