Product's Packaging is Insufficient

The quality of a product depends also on how it is packaged. In this case, it was packaged poorly, resulting in damage to the product that could only be observed after removing the protective plastic.
The box did not stand up to being delivered, causing the product to receive dents to the housing.
I know this review is about the product and not Best Buy, but:
Best Buy is unable to exchange this product for me since it's out of stock. A replacement product is available, but Best Buy would require me to pay the difference (since it's a newer model). Best Buy offered a small amount of compensation for the damage, but I do not believe it is sufficient.
Since this damage was discovered after installation and removal of the protective plastic sheet, I'll have to live with it, it seems.
