So far I have used this with a Hero 7 and a Canon M50 with 22mm fixed lens. Anything larger or heavier and it will struggle. Balancing takes some practice, but after a few tries not a big deal. I love the small size, and it’s dead quiet. Accompanying app has some nice features. Especially like how it follows a preset path, to add movement to a time lapse, and for automatic panorama waypoints. Very happy with this gimbal.

Man the quality of this gimbal was super nice. Very rugged aluminum body but I was not pleased with balancing an Osmo Action or iPhone 11 Pro with a case. It was hard to balance. I would of been happy if I could get one set easily but it was difficult for both. I returned and got the Osmo Mobile 3. It was way easier, it just doesn’t have the camera spin that this one has. I just wish it was easy to balance.

I bought this gimbal to use with my Sony A6000, and my Galaxy S9 plus. I was a little concerned on much weight this could handle. So i tried my A6000 with a compack lens, and it really does the job. With my phone was a lot easier, i could say it takes sometime to get it balanced, but after a while you know what you're doing. I recommend this gimbal to anyone looking into have steady videos on your phone or your digital camera.

First thing first: Make sure your payload is light/compact enough to work in the constraints of this. --------------------------------------------- I've tried a few gimbals in the past, but always have up on them because they were overly bulky for the amount of use I needed. This one hits a great balance of price, size and performance. Here are the setups I've tested; Fujifilm X-E4 w/ 16mm f2.8: Balances better than the setups below since it is vertically much smaller. Functions well overall and feels like a good pairing to this gimbal. Fujifilm X-T200 w/ 16mm f2.8: Works mostly, but you can't perfectly balance due to the height of the "prism" at the top. Issues prop up at very extreme angles and high speed/erratic movements. Fujifilm X-T20 w/ 16mm f2.8: Very similar to experience w/X-T200 above. Used for B-roll for a wedding and had overall a good experience. Fujifilm X-T4 w/27mm f2.8: Similar to above experiences, but the overall weight exaserbates the issues. The 27mm lens is likely the only lens light enough to work with the X-T4 in any near-reasonable capacity.

The instructions are unclear and incredibly vague. None of the Best Buy workers could even help me set it up. The instruction video online that I googled is not for a novice, they skip over certain instructions as if they assume you know the ins and outs of the assembly of a stabilizer. Also, the app never connected to my camera.

M2 Crane review with mirrorless camera

The M2 Crane is fair in what it’s capable of doing but, often it loses its balance and gives me a lock error. I would have to turn off the crane and turn it back on to get it back balance so I can get a stable shot of video footage. This crane is not really made to support the weight of mirrorless cameras.

At first seems a little complicated to balance, but with some practice becomes super easy. The fact that you can use several devices, makes digital image creation more exciting and opens new ways to manipulate cameras around different environments without having a big and expensive set up. Take you creativity to the next level.
