Had a different 3 cup steamer which I wasn't pleased with, but my new purchased has me definitely pleased with the ease of operation and quality/texture of my rice

The rice cooker is a little narrower than my last rice cooker and there's not much room to steam things in the tray, but it cooks the rice more evenly (no browning at the bottom) and is easier to wash.

This rice cooker is so easy to use, we used to make minute rice, and this comes out so much better! White Chinese sticky rice made at home in no time! Follow the directions and you will have perfect results everytime

This is a fantastic rice cooker for the price. Rice does not stick to the pan and the cleanup is super easy. The steamer tray is a great addition. We've often put beans or broccoli in and steamed them at the same time as cooking the rice. Turns out perfect every time.

Once you figure out proportions of rice/water, this is a clean and simple way to make rice. May not have all the bells and whistles but priced and sized well.

I am married to a Vietnamese man. For the longest time we didn't buy a rice cooker because we were in college, and it just wasn't one of those things we "needed." Finally, we decided to get one because I got tired of him getting rice stuck in the bottom of my pots. This thing works great! Cooks rice great and steams great. I really don't have a negative thing to say about this product.

We loved the Zojirushi- Rice Cooker/Steamer-White. My mother is using it since I bought it .She’s very happy very satisfied.

Easy to use and clean. However when cooking rice, it seems to overflow thru and over the top lid. It could be our mistake, perhaps cause it is a "steamer" as well.

I have bought my first one 20 years ago and have recently bought one for each of my kids as they went off to college. Perfect rice every time.

The rice cooker cooks pretty well. However, it is made very cheap. The lid is super small. It barely be able to keep balance on the pot top. The pot is made with a super thin nonstick coat. The coat started peel within 2 months with very gentle care. I end up buying a different brand from Best but which has a much better quality. This product is fair price per price tag; but consider the usage life, it is totally not worth to buy unless you want to eat rice cooked from a peeling inner pot. By the way, the company quoted $50 for replacement inner pot. I only use the product less than 2 months.

Super easy. We have always had trouble making rice in the high altitude of the Rocky Mountains. We don't have trouble anymore!

Great value for the money , rice is always consistent where it’s cooked perfectly

I'm a fan of Zojirushi brand, own a bigger version, 10 cups, of same brand cooks rice perfect but since its pot coating peeled off I bought the this unit, a 5 cup, a smaller version of same brand. The quality is not the same. The lid is loosely fit that results in the cooked rice is dry and unable to keep rice warm. Instead, the cooked rice would go drier after few hours. I would never buy any rice cooker with similar design again.
