Great option for DSLR videography!

I use this option for run and gun interviews where I don't have enough time to hook up a lav mic. It does require some EQ in post, but the convenience and quality make it an awesome option for me.

Awesome attachment for filmmakers!

So I had previously purchased the Zoom H6 and had been waiting for this attachment to be released and I must say I'm not disappointed! The H6 is one of the best audio recorders on the market right and this shotgun mic attachment certainly compliments. It is great for indie filmmakers like myself. I would definitely choose this over a Rode mic.
