Worth The Investment
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. Was skeptical at first. I really wanted the corsair MM700 mouse pad so I could control the RGB with Icue and have it sync with the rest of my PC. The MM70 was sold out, the ones that were in stock were selling for almost $200 when the original price was only $60. I bought 2 XXL mouse pads on Amazon but they only had preset colors. I found this one and saw it had better RGB options so decided to gamble on it. Overall it's a great mouse pad, the Roccat Swarm RGB software isn't the most friendliest but after playing with it you'll figure it out. Good quality materials, easy to clean with a damp rag or sponge. My only complaints would be, lack of onboard memory so I don't have to have the program start with windows for the RGB to turn on ( Once the program loads the RGB will stay on and you can close the program). And the dual color option doesn't work that well ( at least for the dual colors I'm using, pink and green) The mouse pad has 2 lighting zones you can assign 2 different colors to. I have a pink and green theme and when using the dual lighting zones, 1 pink , 1 green, it comes out as a mixture of the two. Not clearly defining any of the colors. It's so bad it doesn't even go with the theme and throw it off. The 1 color option works fine so that's what I've been using. I use this XXL mouse pad just for a mat, protects the table, looks great at night, works as a work mat but it's not Anti-Static. I bought the smaller version for my mouse which works great too. My keyboard and mouse are on a rollout tray so it looks nice with both RGB mats. Be nice if they had more size options. The XXL is too big for my rollout tray, and the small mouse pad is too small for my mouse and keyboard. I have part of my keyboard on top of the mouse pad as you can see in the pic. Works good, keyboard doesn't wobble or feel uneven, Hopefully Roccat will make a size in between the XXL and the normal mouse pad :).

Pretty sweet actually.
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Bought it for my son's gaming setup. Works as advertised. He likes it. The only short term problem which was easily solved was that it has to be plugged into your PC USB port not a power strip USB. Having just a single port on our laptop caused me to also have to buy an extender to use the product...but once I did that...works good.

Q: QuestionStarting To get into Gaming Stuff, So, I want to make sure, it is wired with 1.8 meters of length, and instead of a hard mousepad, is soft? also is it possible to roll up for transport.
Asked by YaBoiRed.
- A:Answer Not sure the length of the cable, if I had to take a guess I would say maybe 3-6ft, probably closer to 6ft. Even if its too short you can buy a new longer USB cable for it, it's not built in. The mouse pad is soft not hard, and yes it's easy to roll up for transport.

Q: QuestionI have multiple Q’s: Will i have to download a program to customize the 2 lighting zones? Is it compatible w/ the icue program for lighting? Is it possible to have the zones change color (purple to green and back)? Can i plug straight to pc or monitor?
Asked by Auda.
- A:Answer Yes you need to download and install Roccat Swarm, it's basically the equivalent to Icue but for Roccat products. Honestly it runs better than Icue, all my rgb is controlled with Icue except my mobo, ram and mouse pads. Icue can be laggy, unresponsive or even buggy at times. Haven't had any issues with Roccat Swarm, it's lightweight and runs pretty well. As of right now the mouse pad isn't compatible with Icue. There may be a way to get Icue to recognize the mouse pad and lie to Icue and tell Icue that it's a corsair mouse pad. I've seen people do this with 3rd party RGB strips and it worked. I have not been able to get Icue to see / recognize the mouse pads though. They plug into any USB port, I haven't tried it, but it might be possible if you have a Corsair Commander Pro to plug the USB directly into the Commander Pro. It just might work. I have an older Corsair Ram Cooler that has RGB which isn't officially supported by ICUE, it's only supposed to work with Link. I plugged it in and was able to get it to work, it's somewhat buggy and some RGB settings don't work well with it, but I can get it working pretty good. There are rumors that Corsair is going to make Icue more 3rd party RGB friendly. When or if this is really going to happen is unknown. Honestly as far as the zones go it's better to just use 1 color for both zones and have it pulse with another color or something similar to that. When using 2 different colors and both RGB zones the colors tend to blend and not look anything like the original color. Haven't tested it with a lot of colors but for pink and green it comes out like a faded purple. Yes you can plug it into any USB port connected to the computer. Both my Roccat mouse pads are plugged into my center monitor, you have to make sure the monitor's USB to PC USB is hooked up otherwise the the computer won't read the mouse pads, they'll probably turn on but you won't be able to change the RGB. Your monitor should have come with a USB cable that connects your pc to you monitor, USB on both ends.
