Creating delicious and healthier* meals just got easy and fast with this beautiful Freestanding Gas range offering Air Fry mode & Convection. *As compared to deep frying
Q: Is the fan supposed to run continuous or intermittently during convection and airfry cooking?
A: I had the same question on my newly delivered unit. To me, the fan SHOULD run continually in convection mode to assure the most even temperature and heat distribution. It does NOT and per the rep from Samsung I was told NONE of the fans run continually in air fry or convection modes, it is 10 seconds and 40 seconds on/off time. It is quite poor of Samsung to NOT provide this information in ANY consumer or retailer sales/information material. It is only once the unit is installed that one discovers that they, it would appear all mfrs have done this not just Samsung, have decided that what was once normal for the fan to continually run(convection) is no longer how things work. VERY, VERY frustrating!!!! So please Samsung, and others, put in writing in the user manual(that one must download and is not included with the purchase of a major dollar amount purchase)!!!!
A: under easy mode #3 says air fry on your control panel
Q: Is this a true convection oven? Or is it a conventional oven with a convection mode?
A: True convection.
Q: When the Oven is on, do you feel an excessive amount of heat coming through the top vent.?
A: Yes... It says there will be an excessive amount of heat at the top vent... Normal...
A: I haven't used it yet but according to the booklet that came with the range, it's located at the top of the oven where most broilers are located and you use the top rack position for broiling.
Q: Is this fingerprint resistant?
A: Yes!
Q: Will the gas burners and or oven light with a match if there’s no power? Thanks
A: They sure can, Baker33! Without electricity the automatic ignition will not function, and the burners would need to be lit manually. Page 26 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/3ibOnny) has instructions on how to safely light the burners manually. ^Jecca
Q: What size is the outlet pipe on the range ?
A: It takes a 1/2" flare. Nipple on one end and flat end on side the you screw into stove. Hope that helps.
