Q: I currently have a tv stand with a width of 71 inches. Would this tv be okay with my current stand?
A: my current stand is only 54 inches .. will the legs work?
A: Exactly my question, and no help anywhere I've checked even with installers and no luck. I just got back from Best Buy. They had an 82" Q60R that I could get a ruler on. Top to bottom frame housing is 41.25". Top frame to top vesa hole is 9". Then vesa vertical holes are 400mm or 15.75". Couldn't get a good measurement on bot section so do the math. I'm setting up my mounting for this in hope's that the Q70 is the same. I have a limited wall recess I'm mounting it in. It would be so simple if these dimensions were given in the spec sheet. Good luck.
A: i believe they are the same.. just different sku numbers for warranty(you get one or two more years from Costco)
A: The legs for the 82” set in 12” on both sides of the width of the tv. My cabinet is 65” wide and I have ample room for the feet. The tv itself overhangs a little on the cabinet but is no big deal.
A: Height: 48.2 inches Width: 80.3 inches Depth: 10.2 inches Even if you are able to get the box into your vehicle, I would recommend having another person around to maneuver it around.
Q: What is the distance of the footprint for the 82” tv thank you Distance between the legs ???
A: There are 2 possible positions for the legs. The shorter is 49 inches apart. The longer is about a foot more. My tv stand was only 52 inches wide so I got lucky and it just fit with an inch leftover on either side. The legs are 15 inches deep so make sure you can fit the depth as well.
Q: How does this tv compare to the Q9?
A: I have only seen the Q9 at Best Buy. Side by side from directly in front of the TV's, the picture quality is very comparable. From off angle the Q9 holds it's picture quality much better. Also you will see more reflections in the Q70. If you can afford the Q9 or the new Q90, go for it. If not, for the money the Q70 is a really good fairly affordable TV
Q: Does this tv have the connect box
A: No. Only the higher end models do.
